22.01.2022 Armidale Taxis would like to wish our passengers and the whole of the Armidale community a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. We would also like to take this opportunity to thank the Armidale community for their continual support of our business through this very difficult year. We acknowledge that sometimes throughout the year our service has been impacted by several things including COVID 19 and a shortage of drivers. However, we would like to ensure the community t...hat we are doing everything that we can to decrease the wait times during the busier periods particularly of a Friday and Saturday night when the pubs close and we have approx. 400 people trying to get home with only 18 available taxis. 20.01.2022 Following updated advice from NSW Point to Point transport, mask wearing is now MANDATORY for both drivers and passengers across NSW when using public transport (this includes Taxis). Our drivers will be requiring all passengers to wear masks throughout their journey. Mandatory mask wearing does not apply to:... Children 12 and under Persons with a physical or mental health illness or condition, or disability that makes wearing a fitted face covering unsuitable including, for example, a skin condition, an intellectual disability, autism or trauma. We ask that our passengers please take this advice as seriously as we do. Please ensure when you travel with us you sit in the rear seat where possible. Our network caters for some of our communities most vulnerable people. Your compliance with the government’s recommendations will help keep us all safe and stop the spread! 06.01.2022 Just want to let everyone know that Armidale Taxis will be operating during this lockdown period and will be able to transport you for essential travel as required. Even though we are operating we are running a limited number of vehicles and we therefore appreciate your patience during this very difficult time. Our drivers take extreme care in keeping their cars clean and tidy and regularly sanitise high touch areas. We would appreciate that all our passengers fully abide by COVID health orders in an effort to keep our community safe.
