25.01.2022 The ArtHouse has a rare weekend available this Saturday and Sunday, and even Monday if you are stretching that long weekend even further. The weather is warm and this weekend is expected to be lovely - just perfect for swimming.

23.01.2022 Fish Creek is home to a large icon....a fish of course! Resting on the top of the Fish Creek Hotel, this giant mullet has been lying on its side (as if it has just landed there after being caught, or fallen from the sky) for 25 years now, and has just rd entry undergone a complete refit by the artist Colin Suggett who originally made the giant mullet for an installation work.

20.01.2022 The ArtHouse is undergoing a little change, and its time to let the world know! We are reducing the size of the ArtHouse accommodation to a one bedroom cottage. The reason is, we have decided to put in a small coffee bar in the front of Gecko Studio Gallery, our other business. This means we have needed to carve off some of the space in the ArtHouse - a bedroom and hallway - for shop use. So we currently have the ArtHouse closed due to renovations but will be open for business again from early September! The ArtHouse will now cater for 2 people and will be able to accommodate up to 4 people with a fold down divan in the living area. Stay tuned for more information. Bookings will be available to be taken for September on, from next week.

16.01.2022 Refuge Cove Cruises is Wilsons Promontorys newest cruise adventure. Launches from 2 January 2018 Refuge Cove Cruises allows visitors to explore hard to access parts of Wilsons Promontory National and Marine Parks. Highlights of the tour include Refuge Cove, Waterloo Bay, Wilsons Promontory Lightstation, Skull Rock and Kanowna Seal Colony and spectacular granite cliffs, sheltered coves and Islands.... Lunch is served on board their brand new 42 seat catamaran. The waters in the region support dolphins, seals and migrating whales as well as a rich diversity of bird life including shearwater, little penguins and white-bellied sea eagles. The vessel has a bow door to provide access directly onto the beach at Refuge Cove. Once at Refuge Cove there is free time to explore the National Park, swim or stand-up paddle boarding in the cove. 11.01.2022 The latest addition to public artworks for Fish Creek is a new fish! This beauty has been created by two local artists Andrew McPherson and Ray Jones, from the skeletal remains of two Commonwealth Games Fish used in the parade on the Yarra River in Melbourne. Resting and slowly rusting for nigh on 10 years until the right time and people came along to remake them into one giant fish! It now is oride if place beside the wonderful Rail Trail, rotating slowly in the wind.

Full of wonderful art galleries, eclectic shops, an amazing 74 km rail trail (Fish Creek is the midway point!), and great coffee and food....and of course, the fabulous ArtHouse!!
