WE BELIEVE IN BEING UPFRONT WITH OUR CUSTOMERS Unfortunately our Blue Gum does have a high moisture content. YES IT WILL BURN (we are using this in our own home). To get the most out of it. you will need to get a hot fire going with the flue vent open using the smaller pieces of Blue Gum and a little bit of kindling Once that fire is roaring put at lest 4 mixed size pieces of Blue Gum in, leaving the flue vent open for 1/2 to 3/4 hour At home we don’t fully shut the flue vent leaving it open just a bit Remember never fully empty your heater,all ways leave 50mm (2) of ash in the bottom. Clean your flue at least once a year( we do this at the end of summer). All ways happy to take calls if you need any advice or have any questions. Local delivery area.
