24.01.2022 ASEME is currently first having completed almost 1400 laps. OC EESW, 2IC EESW and ASEME Team Captain WSM EESW all pause before braving the coming storm.

23.01.2022 ASEME trainees have conducted the final field exercise for 2019. Those fortunate few were gifted an opportunity to reaffirm basic soldier skills and resilience in a dismounted construct, whilst deployed to Moyhu state forest , located in the picturesque King Valley Winery region of Nth East Victoria. Trainees’ resilience levels were tested early by the difficult terrain (which is dominated by high features) and the start of summer (near zero temps and torrential rain/hail). After some words of wisdom (provided by our esteemed RAInf CSM WO1 Paris, spirits appeared to lift almost instantly). Patrols, navigation, and VCPs have been conducted over the last week to prepare the trainees for the imposing final battle.

13.01.2022 What a great way to end a busy year; OC, ASM and WSM of EESW unveiled the guard vehicle for the Wing, a Land Rover 110 6x6 Electronic Repair Vehicle (ERV). The ERV was a critical platform that allowed the electrical and electronic systems trades to maintain and repair the Army’s equipment for over 30 years, seeing operational theatres in the Somalia, Rwanda, East Timor, Bougainville, The Solomon Islands, Afghanistan and Iraq. From all the Staff and Trainees at ASEME, we wish ...you safe travels on holidays and postings, a merry Christmas and a happy New Year Forces Command - Australian Army Australian Army Defence Australia Land Rover

12.01.2022 CATW Careers Cell have kicked off the community engagement activities in 2020 with a return to Beechworth RSL. The work was conducted on the restoration of a couple of prominent weapon displays. A WW2 era 40mm Bofors Anti-Aircraft auto cannon and a 1904 German field gun captured in Palestine. The remaining staff and students helped RSL President John Eldrid catalogue and clean a large number of items from the RSL’s collection.

09.01.2022 The final community engagement activity for 2019 has been conducted by the SUBJ4 CPL course and CATW staff. This month the team took on a yard clean up and beautification project for a former bluebell. Craig Davis former RAE and RAEME (418) and veteran of Iraq, needed a little help, so RAEME to the rescue. A huge thank you to all the participants who have volunteered their time and efforts to improve the lives of locals within the wider Albury Wodonga community throughout this years engagement events. A special mention must also go to both SGTs Truelove and Brown from the SUBJ 4 CPL course for their drive and determination in making these events a reality. A big thank you to those special few from outside ASEME that have chipped in, you know who you are.
