24.01.2022 Our website is currently offline. We are currently working on an upgrade to some of the underlying components of the website. Since we're not quite sure how this'll take, we wanted to take the website offline to do it. We should be back soon!

22.01.2022 Our website is currently offline due to a fibre breakage upstream. There is no ETC of repairs.

21.01.2022 Can't get through to us today? This is why. You can message us, and we'll get back to you as soon as we can.

21.01.2022 Did you know? Our website is now back online and operating correctly. Ask us questions, post your surveys, be part of the community, keep up to date with the development of Asperger’s Network 3.0 - as well as submit suggestions for what we should include. You’re always welcome on Asperger’s Network! Come visit us at https://aspergers.network/forums

20.01.2022 Last weekend, EMU 01 was retired from service by Queensland Rail. Our site moderator Jeremy lives in Queensland, and covered it. https://aspergers.network/forums/topic/1451

19.01.2022 Whoops. We had a little issue with the website earlier today when our certificate expired. It’s been renewed now and the site is working again!

16.01.2022 Looking for participants who are parents/carers of children diagnosed with ASD in Australia. We are looking at how the parent/carer's personality influences the...ir distress levels as the result of being a parent/carer. Participation is anonymous, only takes 10-15 minutes online, and you can go into the draw to win 1 of 3 $50 Myer gift cards. See more

15.01.2022 Asperger’s Network believes, at its core, that The System is broken. That being lobbed off to a job agency for your Centrelink requirements is wrong, and that the government paying them for doing almost nothing is extortion. That’s why we realised we could do better. We at Asperger’s Network believe in a world where Autistic people can be well paid, indispensable employees, or even build their own businesses, and we want to help you get there, every step of the way. Starti...ng with Asperger’s Network 3.0, we’re going to be introducing a job posting module, which is aimed at allowing you to apply for jobs targeted for you. We’re also going to venture into the path of Autistic Entrepreneurship - and we’re going to help you out in any way that we can. If you have any tips or want to help *us* out, get in touch by sending us a message. We’re all in this together!

14.01.2022 Today’s #uselesstrivia:

13.01.2022 Whether or not you know Ben, our Managing Director, you can’t deny the reason that we exist - yesterday, Ben went down to Liverpool and appeared on 89.3FM where he explained why we exist, and why Asperger Media exists. Give it a listen if you haven’t already!

12.01.2022 In Case You Missed It: The New South Wales State Election is coming up on Saturday. If you've been paying attention to the rhetoric and the scare campaigns bought by each of the major parties, they refer - rather frequently - to something called a "Preference Deal". What is a Preference Deal? A Preference Deal is what a political party uses when they print their How To Vote sheets. These are the sheets you get when you go to vote by either the candidate's assistants or if y...ou're really lucky, the candidate themselves. On it, is outlined what they will do for the state. On it, there's also a mock ballot paper explaining where to vote [1] for their candidate, followed by [2], [3]. etc. If you're paying attention, you'll notice that these numbers change on each sheet of paper. This is where the "Preference Deals" come in. The order that these numbers are listed is what the parties preference. This is it. There's no way your vote gets shifted to a candidate you didn't vote for. When you vote in a New South Wales state election, you do not need to number more than one box on the Legislative Assembly paper. By voting [1] for a candidate and that's it, you run the risk of your vote "exhausting". This means your candidate has been eliminated, and you haven't preferenced anyone else. Your vote is removed from the count. The parties will recommend that you vote for all the boxes. This is important. Because if you don't, your vote will not count until the very end. In other words; make your vote yours. We don't want to tell you who to vote for, but there's a lot of misinformation out there about how to vote, and How To Votes in general. We just wanted to clear them up, since we believe that the only way one can make an informed decision is to be properly informed. The big tablecloth Legislative Council paper is another thing entirely, and we recommend actually reading it. It's a bit long to dissect on a Facebook Post.

09.01.2022 We have now found the root cause of the outage (which was not, as previously stated, due to a fibre break), and are working to resolve it.

09.01.2022 We’re looking forward to seeing more from you, Alex!

08.01.2022 Our parent company might be closed for Christmas, but our website is still alive and kicking...

08.01.2022 In case you missed it - Ben, our Managing Director, talking at BREED Australia last night about what we are planning and what we’re doing now.

07.01.2022 It's Business as Usual for us at the moment. How is COVID-19 affecting you? Share your workspace setup, issues, questions... We'll try to answer as much as possible. In the comments is our setup.

05.01.2022 Hello to all our new likes; we've seen you like our page, and we wanted you to know that we'd love to hear from you! Asperger's Network - the website - is in the middle of a massive overhaul, but we're definitely still here and still listening!

04.01.2022 Welcome to all our new likes. We've rolled out a couple of small updates to our website. In the meantime, here's McDonalds_worker, one of our moderators, best songs of this year. Think you can better his list? We'd love to hear about it!
