06.01.2022 AURA - so well built! We’ve been extremely happy with our Aura but even more so after it having survived a Cat 3 cyclone in Karratha. The van was well tied down... next to our house. It didn’t move at all throughout the hours of extreme wind and rain. We had 8 hours of destructive/very destructive winds peaking at gusts to 195km/h with gales for hours either side of that. We had 240mm rain over two days and sideways rain from all angles for about ten hours. The weather was intense! After the cyclone had passed we were very pleased to find that there was no damage and even better... NO LEAKS!!! All of the windows, vents, solar panels, aerials, etc. stayed in place, and no water at all got into the van or in the boots. Everything stayed bone dry. Awesome build job Aura, we are VERY impressed! See more
