22.01.2022 Some of you will have noticed the forum came back online earlier this week. I have some good news. Forum will go down again around 8pm tonight but then the next time you see it, we will be on the Vanilla platform. ... Vanilla has already been installed on the server. Tonight our server goes down to upgrade SQL and PHP to their latest respective versions. Then we begin migrating over the old VBulletin data and sometime in the next 4-7 days, AusAmarok will breathe new life again.

16.01.2022 Update time guys! So over the last few days, I have spent countless hours on the forum, with external assistance as well. The hack has now been eradicated, so for now we are running on the latest VB4 version (4.2.5). We looked into upgrading to VB5, however there were too many issues.... We will not be resting on VB4 though. The plan over the next few weeks is to migrate the forum from VBulletin to Vanilla Forums. Vanilla Forums is a business grade community forum, 100% hosted and supported by themselves. It is used internally by companies like Electronic Arts, Adobe, Harvard University, etc. Which means we should have 99.999999% up-time. If ever we have any issues they will generally be able to fix it, proactively, within a few hours. It is a much more modern interface with the ability to do things like drag & drop images, videos, etc, has social integrations (facebook/linkedin/etc). Overall, a much better product. This is not a cheap exercise, however it is the right thing to do moving forward. Our Vanilla Test forum will be up and running on Tuesday, from there we will do a test migration over and once I am happy with everything we will formally move the forum over. Exciting times. Ash,

13.01.2022 We have now successfully upgraded to Vbulletin 4.2.4 which is the latest stable build version for Vb4. Hopefully all previous errors and issues that have arisen over the last 2 weeks have been resolved.

If the main URL still takes you to the old site, clear your cache. There is still a bit of work to do with the template design, but all functionality should be working. Welcome to the new era of AusAmarok. I still need to add Tapatalk to the new site, however Vanilla is Mobile Friendly, so you can use your native mobile browser (Safari / Chrome / Firefox, etc) to access the site as well.
