24.01.2022 .The final of the AOYT was held today. It was hard fought with the lead changing through the match. In the end SA was too good for QLD. Congratulations to the winning team David GUE, Bertie MORGAN, George BARTLEY, Lincoln DAVEY, Fletcher DAVEY, Tony ROSELLA, Justin WILLIAMS (NPC). Well played to our runners up : Darren BRAKE, William HAN, Sebastian LANGDON MACMILLAN, Ben LEUNG, Paddy TAYLOR, Ellen VISSCHER, Andrew GOSNEY (NPC). Thank you all for playing in great spirits. 24.01.2022 At the halfway point of the first round robin, SA leads the field by a small amount over QLD. There are matches almost every day on BBO, so come and support your state.

20.01.2022 We have an international game being setup for 5pm Perth/7pm Sydney/9pm NZ Sunday night. There will be tables from Europe, Australia and NZ. Last time we had 4 tables, expect bigger this time. If you are interested let me know. *For under 30’s/Under 26/Under 16 if numbers permit.

17.01.2022 We have had an offer to join a Scandinavian/Helenic practice sessions for Juniors who are interested. If you want to have a go, let me know your details Hi... I inform you that almost every Sunday at 09:00 GMT I host in BBO a pairs imps event (16 boards) for Juniors, Youngsters, Kids. Inform your players and I only need to have their username if they want to participate in order to add them to my list. This way they can register from 07:00 GMT (Sunday). 15.01.2022 Big day of bridge in the Australian Youth Online Tournament. Qld took first blood this morning against ACT and Qld is online now playing against SA. The event is setup so anyone can watch, so come and support our juniors.

12.01.2022 The ABF would like to support youth bridge, and offer all youth players (and under 30's who are prepared to mentor) to enjoy a weekly game on BBO. We plan to hold a duplicate and then have a talk after the game on any interesting hands. And It's completely free. We are in the final stages of getting this up and running, and we now require your feedback. We need to get the day of the week and the timing right for you, so I'm going to put up a poll, and you can vote on as many ...days as you want. After this poll, we will ask about times of the day, but that will be done at a later stage. 09.01.2022 With 6 matches to go in the AOYT, QLD are nearly locked into the finals, but with matches to come against their most likely opponents SA & VIC. NSW is a long outside chance needing maximum wins and favorable results in other key matches. The remaining matches are scheduled from this Friday until Sunday night. The 2 teams that top the leader board will playoff in a final at a date to be determined for some great prizes and of course the title.
