14.01.2022 This is us. Being on holidays. Still in our pj's at 3pm. Hanging out on the trampoline. Just being. Something that I don't get to do often enough. Something that lingers in my head each and every day. If I'm a bit late on the replys at the moment it's because I'm here.... switching (partially) off for some much needed time with this ray of sunshine

10.01.2022 This image helped to save a girls life. It's not a technically great photo, stunning light, a magic sky or a twirling dress. It's not a perfect Insta family with white whites and a spotless house. This is a REAL Australian family with a raw story. This image is one that told a story and one that sparked an emotion. It's one that a person saw, triggered a memory, created an emotion. It's an image that made one very generous person donate enough money to bring all raising to a... screeching halt and get the kid the life saving surgery that she needs. The Humphries were only half way there in raising what they needed and it was at a pivotal point where they thought it just wasn't going to happen. No amount of magazine features or shit hot likes could ever top the meaning of this to me. My photo helped to save a girls life. Photography is far more than taking a pretty picture to me. It runs far beneath the surface and deep into my soul. It stems from my own heartache and struggles. It comes from my core. Yesterday morning I received a text from the family thanking me, that it was my photo that brought in the rest of the money needed to save Paige's life. I'm done. I feel more accomplished than I ever could. This is huge. And I wish Paige and her family nothing but peace and a content, healthy, struggle free life. This is the icing on the cake. The all time of wins. It's everything and more that matters to me professionally and emotionally. It's a lesson to all others out there to donate your time, help others. The tiniest gesture can make the biggest difference.

07.01.2022 There are not nearly enough rad Dads in my feed so here is a little bit of magic from my shoot on Sunday with @peachey.pie & fam

03.01.2022 SNEAK PEAK Yesterday when I turned up to Nia's house, I was greeted with an "I feel like we should hug". And that we did... and that's what generally happens on all of my shoots. And then we walk away feeling like friends. I absolutely love getting to know my clients before their sessions. All the tiny quirks of their family, all the bits that they want to remember, everything that makes them, them. So when I turn up... It kinda feels like we've always known each other. That's why I love my job!
