25.01.2022 Classes resume next Monday Feb 4th! The teachers and I are excited to see all our students back to classes and we are looking forward to welcoming our new students. We have some exciting lessons planned and a fun concert to prepare for! Hannah cant wait! 25.01.2022 Our dancers are excited to be performing the floor show at the Christmas in July dinner tomorrow night at Sferas. We hope all the dinner guests have a wonderful night and enjoy the entertainment provided by Avant dancers, designed and created by the talented choreographer Sian Jackson.

22.01.2022 Announcement 21st November Government restrictions allow us to recommence classes as from Sunday. HOWEVER I HAVE TO WAIT FOR A DIRECTIVE FROM TEA TREE GULLY PRIMARY SCHOOL TO HAVE PERMISSION TO RECOMMENCE. AT THIS STAGE I AM NOT SURE WHEN THAT WILL BE (BUT HOPING IT WILL BE GIVEN ON MONDAY) I WILL LET YOU KNOW AS SOON AS POSSIBLE WHEN WE WILL BE ABLE TO RECOMMENCE FACE TO FACE.... EXAM STUDENTS- Dates are currently being negotiated re your examinations. END OF YEAR PRESENTATION- This is still on the calendar, however, due to the 4 square metre ruling modifications will be necessary. More details on this, once contact can be made with the theatre. 08.01.2022 IMPORTANT COVID ANNOUNCEMENT July 19th Dear Parents/Carers, We are incredibly disappointed to let you know that in light of the new state government directive, rules and restrictions, we are required to close our face to face classes for the next 4 days effective from Midnight Monday 19th July. We are hoping all will be well and we will be able to recommence classes on Saturday. I am hoping all students in Beauty will be able to do make up classes on Saturday morning and we ...hope to run a rehearsal in the afternoon for Seasons,That’s my Day and Cats for as many of the students who can make it if we are permitted. Over the next couple of days we will post videos and provide links to google drive of the students concert dances. Please assist us by supervising your child practicing their dances. I will keep you updated as we learn what we are permitted to do. All changes and makeup class times will be posted on the the Avant Ballet studio group page on Facebook and emailed as well. 04.01.2022 IMPORTANT COVID ANNOUNCEMENT FOLLOW UP July 20th Dear Parents/Carers, In light of the safety of health and the new state government rules and restrictions that place us in lockdown, we are required to close our face to face classes for the next 7days effective from 6pm Tuesday July 20th . This means our Dress rehearsal at the Shedley Theatre on Sunday is cancelled. (We are hoping to reschedule this for August 1st -BUT THIS IS YET TO BE CONFIRMED)... I will keep you informed as I know the facts. We will be moving forward with our other concert arrangements as planned. If you are a helper backstage remember Sian is still needing some of your working with children clearances. Please forward them to me or Sian. In regards to the coming week we will be posting as many dance videos as we have and putting up some other online warm up classes on our Avant Facebook group page as well as emailing the links to google drive. Unfortunately you will receive all the links for everything and so please watch out for the videos that are relevant for your child.
