25.01.2022 Our tools may have changed a lot but we haven't.

24.01.2022 Have you ever seen the Servant of Kitty secretly go out of their way to embarrass their noble Master? There are many ways to interpret this behaviour and one of them is jealousy, on the part of the Servant. You see Kitty flawlessly upholds her perfect demeanour. So much so that, at times, the Servant just has to see Kitty ‘lose it ’, if only just for a second, to make themselves feel on a more level ‘playing field’ with her. 24.01.2022 Christmas done... time for a wash and film... Hope you all had a wonderful day and i can't wait to see you next year!

21.01.2022 Kitty Fantastic is not only patient, he teaches patience. Have you ever had to hold the door open for Kitty to come in or out? I sense some of you smiling in a very knowing way at the moment. For those of you who have not had the pleasure, Kitty Fantastic, will not pad over the threshold until he has taken his time to check out any immediate danger, advantage, what is in its right place and what is not in its right place. 21.01.2022 if no man allowed any pursuit whatsoever to interfere with the tranquility of his domestic affections. - Mary Shelly (Frankenstein) Well, I am sure you would concede that Kitty has taken this statement to the extreme. Nothing will interfere with her ‘domestic affections’ and this is where I am going to ‘rock the boat’. just a little. Many of us are consumed by the expectations or the actions of ‘achieving’ and ‘end results’. [ 916 more words ] http://lisa-brown-coaching.com/2020/06/05/every-day-a-pearl/

20.01.2022 Having acknowledged that Kitty is a master of present mindedness, it is worth pointing out that this state of being also helps him to access warmth. This is because when you are present and living in the moment, you are naturally more connected to your instinctual self, your wild nature that knows the next best move, and the next best move is always towards the light and warmth that life offers us. 20.01.2022 There is a saying that ‘opposites attract’, however, a more truthful way of describing this observation is, ‘what I disown in myself is what I find attractive in others’. In my early years I found it very difficult to navigate my family and, being of the feline, I mean, female, persuasion, I folded myself into all different personas to become what I perceived as worthy of approval in the eyes of my parents, siblings, grandparents and anyone else I thought mattered. 18.01.2022 Instinct What is that? I scour the internet to find a potent definition and am disappointed by the existing grandiose and rationalised papers. Nothing I find adequately frames the experience or feel of how I have experienced the nature of instinct and, just to be sure we are on the same page, I am not talking about base instincts such as procreation or the instinct to find food. 18.01.2022 Being heard in a supportive, non-judgemental and congruent space will enable you navigate your process of change and hear your own wisdom.

18.01.2022 CRITICAL MONDAY MEET YOUR INNER CRITIC it constricts your ability to be creative.... it stops you from taking risks because it makes you fear failure. it views your life as a series of mistakes waiting to happen. it compares you unfavorably to others and makes you feel less than. it is constantly warning you not to look foolish. it is terrified of being shamed and so monitors all your behavior to avoid this. it causes you to suffer from low self-esteem, and possibly depression, because it tells you that you are not good enough. it can make looking at yourself in a mirror or shopping for clothes miserable because of its ability to create such a negative view of the body. it can take all the fun out of life with its criticisms. it makes self-improvement an unpleasant chore rather than a chance to growbecause its basic premise is that something is wrong with you. it doesn’t allow you to take in the good feelings that other people have towards you. it makes you susceptibleand often victimto the judgments of other people. by Hal Stone, Ph.D. & Sidra Stone, Ph.D. From Embracing Your Inner Critic 1993 #innercritic #breakfreeinstitute #AIM #voicedialogue

17.01.2022 Narcissistic qualities occur on a sliding scale and to have zero narcissistic traits can mean that one will become prey to a predator. I think the easiest way to explain this is in the context Kitty vs the ultimate prey animial... Bunny! http://lisa-brown-coaching.com//02/06/are-you-a-kitty-narc/

17.01.2022 It was such a privilege to share this conversation with a long-time friend and curious, creative being! https://anchor.fm//Jazz-singer--voice-dialogue-facilitator

15.01.2022 Lisa is a vast and intelligent coach, who seems to magically merge practical, transformational tools with deep, incredibly accurate intuitive advice. For me, ...working with a coach who has this intuitive approach meant we could get right to the heart of matters, sparing up time to further explore the practical and philosophical support I needed. On top of that, Lisa has an expansive knowledge of a vast array of methodologies - a toolbox I truly appreciated, as it meant she could often pull out exactly the right tools to best support me on the level of mind, body and spirit. Truly a beautiful coaching experience.

13.01.2022 With only weeks left until I complete my degree, I am looking forward to writing more "Kitty Fantastic" blogs. In the meantime, just remember...

13.01.2022 Highly recommend listening to, or reading, this book. https://www.audible.com.au//Lost-Connections-A/B078HH4D4H

13.01.2022 Gillian is a seven-year-old girl who cannot sit in school. She continually gets up, gets distracted, flies with thoughts, and doesn't follow lessons. Her teach...ers worry about her, punish her, scold her, reward the few times that she is attentive, but nothing. Gillian does not know how to sit and cannot be attentive. When she comes home, her mother punishes her too. So not only does she Gillian have bad grades and punishment at school, but she also suffers from them at home. One day, Gillian's mother is called to school. The lady, sad as someone waiting for bad news, takes her hand and goes to the interview room. The teachers speak of illness, of an obvious disorder. Maybe it's hyperactivity or maybe she needs a medication. During the interview an old teacher arrives who knows the little girl. He asks all the adults, mother and colleagues, to follow him into an adjoining room from where she can still be seen. As he leaves, he tells Gillian that they will be back soon and turns on an old radio with music. As the girl is alone in the room, she immediately gets up and begins to move up and down chasing the music in the air with her feet and her heart. The teacher smiles as the colleagues and the mother look at him between confusion and compassion, as is often done with the old. So he says: "See? Gillian is not sick, Gillian is a dancer!" He recommends that her mother take her to a dance class and that her colleagues make her dance from time to time. She attends her first lesson and when she gets home she tells her mother: "Everyone is like me, no one can sit there!" In 1981, after a career as a dancer, opening her own dance academy and receiving international recognition for her art, Gillian Lynne became the choreographer of the musical "Cats." Hopefully all different children find adults capable of welcoming them for who they are and not for what they lack. Long live the differences, the little black sheep and the misunderstood. They are the ones who create beauty in this world.

12.01.2022 Perhaps one of the most defining differences between Feral (Wild) Kitty and Domestic Kitty is their ability to Trust. Having just welcomed an 8-week old Kitty Fantastic into our home, it is touching to witness the level of trust this little one naturally possesses. Everyone in the family recognises how important it is to protect and sustain the precious element of trust she embodies. [ 855 more words ] http://lisa-brown-coaching.com/20//23/the-nature-of-trust/

11.01.2022 It is never easy to say goodbye my clients... for them and for me. However, when the work has been done, this is such a massive achievement and I feel like a proud parent. It is always an honour to have facilitated their growth and flight out into the world, truly more themselves and able to stand stronger in their own energy. This is such a gift to human kind - for each of us to be truly who we are. Thank you to all those, (you know who you are), who have allowed me to play this part on your journey. If you find yourself reading this post and have come this far, please know that my 'nest' has more room. 08.01.2022 Words of wisdom...

08.01.2022 In no other animal have I observed such noble acceptance of love as with Kitty Fantastic. Note the uplifted head as Kitty receives your affection, the closed eyes, the purring with abandon, the absolute receivership of your love. Kitty knows that she is worthy and that her love-ability is unquestionable. She knows that receiving love requires nothing but her presence. Oh, how many times I have wished I could accept the love of others like Kitty, but humans are, perhaps, a little more complex than Kitty. 06.01.2022 You may (or may not have) noticed that I have been absent from this blog space for the past three months. This was due to the commitment of finishing my studies. I have thought about my absence from this space many times in that period and actually felt SO uncomfortable about it but why? Well, as all you bloggers and Facebook business people know we are made to understand that continuous presence on our platforms is essential if you want to attract business, money, attention, whatever. 03.01.2022 This is why using the Voice Dialogue method works so well as a therapeutic tool... come and get to know yourselves!

02.01.2022 We all know it is wise to keep Kitty Fantastic inside as much as possible. We also know that Kitty is cunning as a hunter, he has to be! So, on a warm evening with full moon, the screen door was securely closed until Mr Fantastic - very quietly - opened it - and sneaked out. There was no way to find him after his crime was discovered and, at 13 years of age, this was definitely not the first time he had outsmarted us.
