22.01.2022 The silver medals for the '40 Piece Challenge' and the 'Independent Learner' award both went to this hard working positive attitude student who achieved an excellent standard and 2 grade levels in a short time this year, even missing a period for a suspected broken arm didn't hold her back. I'm looking forward to her growth next year!

10.01.2022 The bronze medal for "Independent Learner Award" went to this champion who powered through every piece given to him and transitioned from grade 3 to 5 in the process, completing multiple page advanced pieces in a single week on his own, so that lessons could be spent on technique and style elements - the ultimate mature style of learning that this 40 piece challenge is driving towards. And in the spirit of the award, with a few pointers, he learnt this piece on his own in roughly a week!

06.01.2022 Congratulations to Caleb who set new benchmarks in learning this year. He started the year with one term of learning behind him, powered through 6 books, completed his Preliminary exam with Honours, won the 40 Piece Challenge 'Most Pieces' award, and the 'Independent Learner' award for most pieces learnt independently! Just wow! I can't wait to see what he achieves next year.
