15.01.2022 Hearing and Vision screening testing is currently being completed at Balaclava State School. If your child has brought home a permission form, please return this consent by Friday, 19th March so that testing can be completed. Additional permission forms are available from the office if required.

03.01.2022 Today on Harmony Day, we celebrate Australian multiculturalism. It is about inclusiveness, respect and belonging for all Australians, regardless of cultural or linguistic background. Balaclava State School students represent 26 nationalities of the world and were all invited to wear cultural dress today. It was a very colourful school! We value our diversity and thank all families for allowing their children to participate.

02.01.2022 Our Year 2 students are currently studying poetry in English and today as part of their Bullying. No Way! day activities, wrote poems to say "No," to bullying. Fantastic work 2B!
