24.01.2022 Parent Help Rosters will be released in three-week rotations starting with main roles. Once main roles are filled the age manager/helper positions will follow. Rosters will be released on a Sunday in three-week rotations and the new roster will follow every fortnight.... The next lot of rosters will be sent out tomorrow evening. Please keep an eye out. 21.01.2022 The last winter XC run is this coming weekend in the lovely Kalamunda Jorgensen Park! Don't forget to register by thursday if you are keen to race. 18.01.2022 EXCITING NEWS!!!!! Cross Country Compitition it back. We have applied to have training at the Baldivis Children's Forrest on Thursdays. I will post the notice from LAWA aswell as the timetable. Please be aware that we desperately need coaches. Shannon and myself are unable to coach this winter season due to coaching commitments elsewhere.... Please let me know if you can help. If we don't have coaches we cannot train. Kelly has offered kindly to help coach. She cannot do this on her own. I will post as soon as we have the go ahead with the Children's Forrest. See more

16.01.2022 NOTICE It has come to the attention of BLAC Committee that an incident occurred between a dog and a young athlete which resulted in the athlete being bitten on the face, drawing blood and requiring medical intervention at last Friday’s competition night on 23rd October 2020. It was also sighted by many committee and parents, altercations between dogs.... As we are sure you will understand, the Baldivis Little Athletics Centre has a duty of care for all athletes competing at our events and it is our priority to ensure the safety of our athletes at all times. Whilst we appreciate that many families enjoy bringing their dogs to training and competition nights, it is evident that those environments, which contain large amounts of people, noise and unpredictability, are not always the best environments for our canine family members. We wish to advise that we will now be strongly encouraging all families to leave their dogs at home during training and competition nights to ensure that an incidents of this nature do not happen again. We hope that you understand that this decision was not made lightly and has been done to ensure the future safety of all those involved. If you have any issues with this matter, please don't hesitate to contact the BLAC committee. Thank you Lisa Smith President BLAC

We will make a definite decision no later than 2pm. The safety of all of our athletes is paramount in this decision.... Please note. 07.01.2022 WINTER SEASON Congratulations to all our winter athletes of another short but great season! Although we have not had our normal winter season this year you have all worked hard and it has been lovely to see you represent BLAC. Due to covid19 and an extremely short winter season our wind up will not be the same as it has in the past. However we do want to celebrate and a knowledge all your hard work and achievements.... We will be holding a winter presentation combined with the Secret Harbour/Port Kennedy AGM on the 17th September at 5pm. We will hold the presentation outside our storage facility at the BLAC oval, corner of Peckham Blvd and Eighty Road Baldivis. We look forward to seeing you all there BLAC

02.01.2022 Well our first night is done and dusted. It was so wonderful to see so many familiar and new faces running around having fun. I would like to thank everyone for your patience last night, due to our issues with our timing gates.... Thank you so much to all the parents who jumped up to help hand time so we could get our athletes running again. I do understand these issues are frustrating and we never want children waiting around for long periods of time for their events. The committee works extremely hard to ensure the season runs as smooth as possible. It certainly was not a competence issue last night, it was a technical issue. Thank you again for a wonderful evening where I saw all athletes doing their very best and having alot of fun. Lisa Smith President BLAC
