25.01.2022 RIP General Chuck Yeager. Passed away age 97.



23.01.2022 Due to the current situation with the Covid-19 virus we wish to advise all visitors that we will be closed for the foreseeable future. We apologise for the inconvenience and would like to take this take to thank all those that have supported the museum. Hopefully this will not be for too long. Everyone keep safe and adhere to the advice on personal hygiene and the social distancing.

23.01.2022 Due to the current Covid-19 situation, the decision has been made to close the museum until further notice.

19.01.2022 Tracks the refurbishment of a famous Dove from first sight to completion - another work in progress. As soon as possible the Museum will have this aircraft open to visitors.

18.01.2022 Finally, things are starting to return to a sort of normal. From this weekend (Nov 14) we will be open from 11am to 4 pm on Saturday and from 1pm to 5 pm on Sundays. We will continue this until further notice. Appointments can still be made for tours through the museum at other times. We look forward to welcoming people back. Many thanks for everyone's patience and understanding during this unprecedented time



16.01.2022 Unfortunately due to the announcement of another lock-down, the museum will be closed from midnight tonight, Friday 12 February until further notice. We will keep you up to date as this situation progresses. We apologize for any inconvenience and hope that people stay safe and continue practicing all the appropriate safety measure.

12.01.2022 The Museum will be closed again for a couple of weeks and we will be reopening on the first weekend of the school holidays, the 27th and 28th of June. We also now have EFTOS available.

11.01.2022 The museum will be open this weekend as normal but, due to the ever changing situation with the covid-19 restrictions, we will be reviewing the museum operations during this coming week. We thank you for your understanding during this extraordinary time and ask that everyone stay safe, adhere to the rules and take care.

09.01.2022 Wishing everyone a merry and safe Christmas

09.01.2022 Good evening everyone, Monday will be a Total Fire Ban across the state of Victoria. Make sure you all stay safe and hydrated and that you have your fire plans in place. today was a good day at the museum with a few visitors. as a guide showing people around it is always a pleasure to talk to people and explain the different displays and how things work. During the festive season, come along and explore the museum and all it offers. Our volunteers are happy to help with any questions.



09.01.2022 As from Monday the 11th of January, the Museum will not be open during the week but will be open Saturdays ( 11am to 4pm ) and Sundays ( 1pm to 5 pm ). Other times are available by appointment on 0429 947 853. Thank you for all your support and we hope everyone has a safe and happy new year.

03.01.2022 On behalf of everyone here at the museum, we wish to extend to everyone a safe and merry Christmas and hoping that 2021 will be much brighter than this last year. Stay safe everyone.

02.01.2022 And finally some good news, the museum will be opening as from the weekend of the 6th of June. The museum will be open all three days of the weekend. Times will be 1 pm until 5 pm (1300 to 1700). We will have hand sanitizer at the door and we request visitors remember to adhere to the distance guidelines set down for the current Covid 19 situation. We would like to thank everyone for their patience during this trying time. Now is a good time to support all your local businesses as they start to open and recover from this situation
