18.01.2022 Please be advised that the track will be closed to all Barossa members on Sunday 14th June, as the track and facilities have been hired out to Kartsport SA to hold a practice day.

PARITY WEIGHT ADJUSTMENT Update: Corrected weight for PRD Galaxy, weight for State Combined Classes to be decided by State Associations Further to the message that was distributed earlier today, there was an error in the minimum weight for the PRD Galaxy engine in the TaG 125 Light, Heavy and Masters Divisions. The minimum weight for this engine is unchanged at 160kg and 180kg respectively. For States that have Combined Classes such as Victorian Combined and SA Combined in their State Regulations, the adjustments for the minimum weights in these classes will be decided by the State Associations through the normal process and included in their State Regulations. 03.01.2022 FYI STATEMENT AUSTRALIAN KART CHAMPIONSHIP ROUND ONE Round One of the 2021 SP Tools Australian Kart Championship presented by Castrol EDGE has been postponed.... The decision to postpone the start of the Championship has been made due to the current border restrictions across the country that have been applied since mid-December. These include both Greater Sydney and Greater Brisbane regions, the latter being declared a Commonwealth hotspot on Friday January 8. 01.01.2022 Working Bee tomorrow, Saturday 12th, at the track from 10am. Needing to do odd jobs around the place to prepare the track and facilities for Kartsport SA race meeting on the 19th. Jobs being done....mowing, toilets, general pit clean, rubbish bins, general canteen/club rooms clean and other odd jobs. Very easy stuff. If you can lend a hand, that’d be great. As they say.....many hands make light work! Lunch and drinks provided to all who help. Track will be closed for practic...e until working bee is completed. Hope to see you there!

01.01.2022 Thank you to everyone who made it out to the track today for our Members Day Event. What a great day. Lots of fun and lots of laughs we’re had. The kids and BIG kids certainly enjoyed the Mega Slide and it was so good catching up with all our members. Thank you to Cheryl for organising all the food and thank you to all the committee members of the Barossa Go Kart Club who helped set and pack everything up.
