15.01.2022 Since we had to shut down Barrelesque I decided to get my "rustic" fix by tearing my house apart . The house is 100yo and y'all know we love all things vintage, rustic and scavenged. We smashed down a wall and exposed the brick and have started stripping the frames back to the original wood. It's a lot harder than working on chairs, but it will be worth it to restore the original beauty. We have also got some tables to restore and there have plans to build a hardwood arb...our and .... 15.01.2022 When we ran our first competition, back in 2017, a lovely woman won a voucher and she wanted to use it to throw her husband a surprise birthday party. After some discussions and planning unfortunate circumstances led to eventual cancellation of the party. We left the voucher open ended for her to use when time permitted. Fast forward to today, and we sneakily planned a pop up breakfast for her husband's birthday. Weather concerns ment we had to move locations from the beach ...to the front porch and while she took her hubby out for a casual stroll, I snuck in and set up a romantic, dairy free breakfast.
