25.01.2022 Flying the urban jungle - over Melbourne CBD - totally surreal, especially in contrast to flying Antarctica. This flight took us well over a year to pull off. The permit process was huge and then the weather got us in 2017, but we finally made it yesterday at dawn. As we've found so many times before persistence pays off! We could not have done it without our team mates - Roger Hugelshofer and Chris Byrnes and without the enthusiastic support of Ossie Khan; Ralph Hamilton Presgrave and his incredible team at Australian Skydive in Torquay; Marc Hugelshofer; Sony; our home drop zone - Sydney Skydivers and so many of our incredibly supportive friends. A big thank you to all of you! This and the Antarctica project will be on 60 Minutes in Australia soon. We hope you can catch it.
25.01.2022 What's most remarkable about this wonderful film is not the extraordinary climbing, it's the incredible teamwork. You're streaking ahead, your partner is struggling behind, the top is in reach. Your team mate graciously says 'you go on, I'll stay behind and support you'. What would you do when your dream is right there in reach? This film demonstrates the magic of making the more difficult choice and the transformative power of exceptional teamwork. If you haven't seen it yet I highly recommend it. https://youtu.be/5Hc8tB9uhho
24.01.2022 Love your work! Check out the huge smile on Chris . Getting ready for our Melbourne city flight (flying our wingsuits in formation from one side of the city to the other, which along with our Antarctic flight will be on 60 Minutes later this month) there is a lot of stressful stuff to get done, and so sometimes we forget the fun (& that its a huge privilege to do what we do). Flying with friends like Chris & Roger, who are always upbeat, is a perfect reminder.
23.01.2022 Congratulations to all the incredible runners who completed the iconic Six Foot Track Marathon from Explorer's Tree to Jenolan Caves in the Blue Mountains Wilderness. It was a pleasure to be part of the Event Safety Services support team. If I saw you in the medical tent, I hope you're feeling better now!
23.01.2022 Alex Honnold talks about his breathtaking free solo of El Capitan - quiet, humble, articulate, insightful, incredible. https://www.ted.com//alex_honnold_how_i_climbed_a_3_000_fo
23.01.2022 Australian Geographic's Adventure Roadshow is coming to Brisbane. This is a rare opportunity to be inspired by four incredible speakers - Andrew Lock - Australia's king of high altitude mountaineering; solo sailor Lisa Blair; wildlife warrior Dr. Tammie Matson and Shark expert Dr. Blake Chapman. After the short keynotes there is a Q & A where you can ask everything you wanted to know about making big adventures happen. I hope to see you there! http://bit.ly/OZGEOBrisbane
22.01.2022 This Sunday on 60 Minutes Australia. We're hoping the story will be as inspiring as the landscape, less 'death defying' and more life enhancing!
22.01.2022 Glenn just came back from Challenger Deep. His second expedition there. This time he was with Victor Vescovo as part of the '5 Deeps' expedition. An amazingly ambitious project to dive the deepest trenches in each of the worlds oceans. This is a great story - http://bit.ly/DeepestDive - They also carried out important science. They even found plastic at a depths below 9000 metres, which was disturbing. There is a lot of excitement about Victor being the keynote speaker for the Australian Geographic Society Gala Awards November 1st. This is an inspirational public event so if you'd like to hear this amazing man present message me, or head to Australian Geographic's website for more into.
22.01.2022 Catching up with Legend climber & author Paul Pritchard If you havent read his book - The Totem Pole put it in your list of must-read mountain literature.
22.01.2022 I'm excited to be hosting FIVE incredible adventurers - Eric Philips, Russell Brice, Michael Smith and Lauren and Justine Jones - who for one night only, will be sharing their stories and insights live at the Australian Geographic Roadshow event, Hobart on September 4th. It's not often you get to hear stories like theirs, and then be able to ask them questions afterward. So much experience and inspiration! I hope you can make it (and bring all your friends). Go to EventBrite for tickets.
22.01.2022 Touch down for Skydive Antarctica 2018. For the next four days or so they will be skydiving over beautiful Union Glacier, where the weather is currently perfect - around -10 on the ground, No wind.
21.01.2022 Getting ready to run 250km!? The sun is shining on Birdsville as everyone arrives for the start of The iconic Big Red Run. If youre running, youre a legend! And youre all set because Dr Glenn, Lucas Trihey and his crew at Event Safety Services are on the job

18.01.2022 Grateful for the opportunity to be brave! 18 years ago when I began my adventure journey with the lofty, seemingly impossible goal of breaking Glenn's world record for altitude BASEjumping, not many people thought I could do it. Many were saying (not to my face) that I shouldn't even bother trying. I didn't "have what it takes", I'd "kill myself", I'd be an "embarrassment to BASEjumping", and other much worse things I wouldn't repeat. I was fortunate to have Glenn and Marta... Empinotti, who believed in me (even when the evidence said she probably shouldn't). During the six years it took to break that record and on the many projects we've been involved in since, I've had the opportunity to do incredible things, see the most breathtakingly beautiful places and meet the most amazing people, including so many 'kick ass women'. All because I took the first step and then just kept going. Since this is International Women's Day I'd like to acknowledge all the incredible, brave, wonderful women who have inspired and continue to inspire me, and all those women taking their own first steps. Here's to being brave!

14.01.2022 What a great night of big inspiration, ideas and insights. The audience at Aus Geo's Award winners roadshow last night in Canberra were blown-away by presentations from Andrew Lock, Lisa Blair and Dr. Glenn Singleman. We also had a surprise visit from legendary mountaineer and expedition leader, Russell Brice! Adventure has so much to offer and to teach us. The collective experiences of these high-achievers offered take-away learning on Resilience, Tenacity, Perseverance, Overcoming Fear and living up to our full potential - to mention just a few themes. The inspiration had us running further and faster this morning while we planned our next big adventure. If you get a chance to attend the next event in Adelaide August 1st - grab it! It is such a great night!

10.01.2022 https://www.redbull.com/int-en/heather-swan-skydiving This is a great article for women who are interested in getting into adventure. In fact it is a great article for anyone. I'm very proud of my wingwoman.
08.01.2022 We absolutely loved Torres del Paine National Park! After our Antarctic adventure we hired a car, drove the 254kms from Punta Arenas, had lunch at a restaurant by the lake in gorgeous Puerto Natales, and then stayed in the park. The Towers were shrouded in cloud when we first got there, so what a reveal the next morning when the cloud lifted and there they were. They reminded me of Pakistan and the Great Trango Tower, only prettier. We trekked all over, marveled at how beautiful it is, and agreed we needed to come back again soon, for a lot longer.
07.01.2022 I always wanted to go Heliskiing in Antarctica but this is way better Over Mt Rossman, Union Glacier, Antarctica. We're hoping to go again this year from Dec 14 - 21 & take up to 6 experienced skydivers with us. If you're interested please message for info.

02.01.2022 An amazing achievement by so many super fit runners competing in the Six Foot Track Marathon yesterday!! The iconic 45 km route goes from The Explorer's Tree in Katoomba to Jenolan Caves. It's known for it's challenging terrain, assents and descents. Crossing the finish line earns you a cow bell and (if you need it) a once over from Glenn who is the event Doctor.
