24.01.2022 With the season now done and dusted. The winning teams have been announced. That leaves one final thing to do which is announce the individual award winners. This year sees the return of the Cricketer of the year award, given to the person with the most points in that grade. The fairest and best award is voted on by the umpires. The awards are as follows. 23.01.2022 Congratulations to all awards winners from all grades. A difficult end to a successful season. Congratulations to all clubs, officials, members and volunteers. Without you all the association could not function. To those involved in country week, Tom Buchanan and Angelo dagostino, blaize and Graham Harradine and Matthew Arrowsmith, a tremendous job returning the BDCA to near the top of the tree. 21.01.2022 It is with great disappointment that the bdca wind up, which was due to be this Friday has had to be postponed at this stage. The decision was not an easy one and we are hopeful we can hold it in the near future. Thank you
21.01.2022 Saturday 7 March at Hay Park, Bunbury and Sunday 8 March in Busselton: To celebrate the ICC T20 Women's World Cup, the South West will be having their own World Cup Carnival for Women's and Girls of all ages. Games will be held on both days plus lunch and other workshops/activities throughout the weekend. Come down and support the South West Women.
18.01.2022 All BDCA senior and juniors games have been cancelled. This is a WACA and country cricket board decision, supported by the association for the safety of players and officials. More details to follow.

13.01.2022 Just a friendly reminder that all u18 players in juniors and seniors are required to wear helmets at all times when batting or wicket keeping. There is no exceptions or exemptions in juniors or seniors.
09.01.2022 Country week is a huge commitment. Late in the week two BDCA cricketers were recognised by the WACA for their longevity. Norm Bedford from Donnybrook was honoured for 30 years of country week. John Bird from collie cricket was honoured for a staggering 50 years of country week. Great achievements for both players
06.01.2022 With country week only 10 weeks away we are starting to get numbers together. It’s great week of cricket and socialising. If your interested please contact Jason Reid or Clint Hewson. If you have never been it’s definitely worth it and for those who have been let’s keep the improvement we made last year going.
06.01.2022 Although neither the A grade or the B grade were able to get the win on Friday it was a great week for all involved. There was some awesome individual highlights but none more important than the 28 runs Brody and jonesy put on against UGS on Thursday to get the boys over the line.

03.01.2022 A great win against Albany today in warm sunny conditions. Those lucky enough to see the game witnessed two young Bunbury cricketers bat themselves into the record books. A 214 run partnership and two great hundreds. Well done fellas
02.01.2022 Following 4 days of cricket the BDCA squares off in both the A grade and B grade grand finals today. The B grade playing South midland at Charles veryard and the A grade playing eastern goldfields at the WACA. Best of luck to both teams.
