24.01.2022 Today is World Kindness Day!! World Kindness Day 2020 encourages people to spread kindness with small acts. It explains how good things do not always need to be big, and it does not take a lot to make someones day or change a life. People can start with helping their significant others or parents with household chores, younger siblings with their studies and activities.... Moreover, they can make the environment clean, water plants, reduce pollution, and help people in need. Kindness not only makes both the parties feel good but also reduces anxiety and stress As well as blood pressure! There are so many benefits to everyone when acting on Kindness. 2020s theme for World kindness Day intends to promote empathy among people. KINDNESS does not always mean do something for others, it can also mean doing something for yourself!! 21.01.2022 What wonderful creations, courage and fundraising by @lifeoflaughteronthefarm & @smmctsv1 Be Kind support both parties and had provided information on the benefits of kindness, the facts around mental health and over 40 wristbands for everyone involved to wear.... 18.01.2022 Be Kind dog bandanas are making a come back after we have recieved numerous requests to do so. Bandanas will be $7 and will come in different patterns so that they stand out and allow you and your fur baby to create a coversation starter around kindness & mental health. When purchasing these Bandanas the funds will go directly back to the Be Kind Charity that will allow Be Kind to get resources out to more people and allow us to achieve all events and programs we have p...lanned for next year which will include a monthly get together for all community. 15.01.2022 MIND Australia in the Townsville region have become the the FIRST EVER 'BE KIND APPROVED' ORGANISATION!! Thanks to the team at Mind Australia youth residential service in Annandale for sharing their Be Kind post-it notes! Staff and residents at this service, which provides individual and group support for young people with mental ill-health in a safe home environment, already have more than 50 acts of kindness on their community noticeboard. Now we finally have our little hobby in full swing so now we can make bulk ear rings to set up at the markets to sell and donate all proceeds to charity Last Month I ran some classes at one of our local all girls school to promote happy, healthy mental health and new friendships while raising money for Be kind townsville the girls loved it!! Had so much fun, I can not wait to deliver everyone’s fantastic earring packs My youngest daughter also ran a fundraising for her school selling her ear rings at Horsomes coffee Good work Lexi!
