20.01.2022 Oh Blast! hehe sorry, but it had to be said. Beer glasses and the first wine glass sandblasted and peeled, ready for a final clean and packing off to A Slice of Africa. Yay for sunny weather without a howling gale because I move my sandblasting hood outside as I don't like doing it in the shed...too scared I'll accidentally take the paint off the tractor.

16.01.2022 I've added an album called "Paper Beads" where I'll try to post my paper bead stock as I list it on the website. Have a browse for lots of colourful, light beads. These are hand cut, rolled and decorated from new paper which has been sealed on both sides for durability and water resistance.

13.01.2022 I started making pretties today. Western Australian white gum and resin. I love the patterns in some of the old branches. I spotted this one when we were collecting firewood and knew it wasn't going up the chimney. Long suffering beloved split it for me but there is still a lot of cutting and sanding to do. This stuff is solid! I also have to wait for layers of resin to cute ugh! I hate waiting. These will become cabochons in due course.

12.01.2022 I wanted to give you all a heads up that Printable Fabric is now online, photos will follow. I have 100% cotton which is great for home decor and bags. 10mm and 16mm hobotai silk is wonderfully lustrous and drapes beautifully. Great for clothing accents and home decor. All three are great for quilting - add your own photographs or designs to that family heirloom piece. 11.01.2022 I was so excited to be dropping these coasters off at A Slice of Africa that I forgot to take a finished photo. They are also stocking my African Adventures calico bags and stubby holders, with placemats in production. All images are by me, Stringbean and Duku.

11.01.2022 These were so much fun to make. Oval base metal links with a round motif. This pair have a dark grey background with white floral detail. $1.00 each - get in quick; they haven't even made the website yet.

10.01.2022 Our success at A Slice of Africa has prompted new toys. Sandblasting is now on the menu :D IT gives a much better finish than the cream etchers. I wonder if I can colour that...

03.01.2022 Taking orders now for these wonderful 2019 calendars featuring our adorable native wildlife who have been in care for various reasons. Healing Hands Wildlife Care are the amazing group of people mentoring us with Bobby and Lulu. Funds from these calendars go towards the vet, feed and supplies costs for all of the HHWC rescues, which can be quite onerous. Bobby and his foster brother, Timmy, feature on the September page. Sadly Timmy did not survive but he will be remembered ...with love. Losing a beastie cuts to the core, but we do what we can and sadly there always seems to be someone else who needs us. The calendars are $10 each plus postage, or pickup from Albany/Elleker/Denmark. They can be ordered by commenting below or sending me a PM. I will add them to the website tomorrow. They will also be available at selected local sites - I will add a list as we go. Thanks in advance for your support. It really is appreciated.

01.01.2022 Cut from light, flexible and robust polypropylene: a great way to decorate anything! The thinness allows for easy media application without having to work the pain/ink inside high edges. Use with paint, glue and glitter/foil/whatever. Can also be used with a hand-held heat activated foil pen.
