25.01.2022 Group today using some lying lateral raises to stretch out the delts. Stretching out a muscle group before moving on to more intense work can increase muscle activation and hypertrophy, as well as reduce injury risk.

18.01.2022 Hey guys, quick update. I know a few of you have suggested outdoor training as an option to keep the gym going. And we think this is an awesome idea. Back to the roots of how we started. However currently if outdoor training is still very much a grey area. There is a lot of contradictory information out there whether we are allowed to do this or not. However there are extremely large fines for breaking the rules. In addition we want to ensure the maximum safety of everyone a...lso. We've been told that hopefully there will be some industry clarification on Tuesday afternoon regarding if outdoor training is allowed and also if one-on-one personal training with safe distances and full precautions still comes under the banner of gyms. So in short hopefully we will know late Tuesday evening what exactly is allowed and be able to let you know after this. On another note I have been discussing the best way to run our online groups with Cherie and I am super pumped with some of the ideas we have came up with.

15.01.2022 After 11 years with our original logo, which we out grew a long time ago, we are very excited to reveal the new Beach Fit Personal Training logo. We would like to thank Poppy Seed Media whom we worked closely with for the redesign. The goal of the new logo was to have an image that captured our culture, our people, the way we train and our values, and something we would be excited to wear. I think we've done this.

05.01.2022 As most of you know we've been given the green light and are reopening this afternoon. There will be a few changes though to fit in with required guidelines so please read below. Sanitise hands on entry and exit (hand sanitiser on front desk as always) Sign register upon entry and exit Bring your own beach sized towel... Try to change into gym gear and use bathroom before arriving in order to minimise traffic. Don't fear, if you're busting bathroom facilities will still be available No licking dumbbells or benches Practice social distancing a. 1.5m b. Use racks for spotting and minimise physical spotting Bring your own beach sized towel (I feel this one needed repeating) Please don’t touch anything at the studio that you don’t have to (Steve will do plate loading and unloading) All sessions will be programmed so equipment sharing won't be necessary And it goes without saying please stay home if you’re sick. Hopefully all pretty clear. We're pumped to get stuck back into it and look forward to seeing you all back this week.

02.01.2022 Hey all, So I've been sitting here for the last half hour trying to figure out how to write this but here goes. For those that are unaware, due to the potential threat of the corona virus all gyms have been ordered to close as per the request of the Australian Government. Unfortunately this includes us . ... Which we realise not only sucks for us but you guys as well. We know how much of a de-stress exercise is after a hard day in the office. It is how a lot of us keep our sanity and a lot of friendships and bonds have been created across the gym. But its not all doom and gloom. Whilst the gym doors may be closed we will be running daily online classes. We are looking at getting these up and running as of Wednesday afternoon. Please join the Beach Fit VIP group if you are not already as we will post more details there tomorrow. In addition to the online sessions though we've been working on a few other ideas which I think I've already discussed with a few of you. Did I hear Challenge....? As for those who have equipment at home and want to now how to use it. We will also still be available to write training programs with our qualified exercise scientists based on the equipment you have available at home. More updates soon.
