Come along and join our friendly water walkers to get your morning exercise in and enjoy the sunshine at the same time. * Casual pool entry cost only. No additional cost. Early Morning Laps is well underway. Morning Laps 6:30am - 8:30am every Tuesday and Thursday We look forward to seeing you all!

22.01.2022 For staff and patron safety, early morning lap swimming will now start half an hour later at Beaufort pool due to not having adequate lighting for staff to safely set up and supervise patrons.

AGM Monday 23 November 2020 9am at the Pool Followed by a general meeting at 9.30am We welcome all community members to attend even for a short time to contribute, encourage, promote and create.... Beaufort Friends of the Pool Incorporated (BFOP) is a volunteer group dedicated to supporting and promoting the Beaufort 50 meter Outdoor Pool. It has a vision that the pool will be the summer community hub for residents and visitors, attracting families, singles and young people as a preferred place for healthy activity and social interaction. This vision is strongly aligned with the Pyrenees Shire Council Healthy and Well Plan 2017 -2021. BFOP aims to work collaboratively with the Pyrenees Shire Council (PSC) to identify and support opportunities to develop and maintain infrastructure at the Pool. It also supports a wide range of current and new events such as school swimming carnivals, VICSWIM, adult learn to swim, all ages coaching, lap swimming, water aerobics, water walking, pool parties with inflatables, Australia Day Pool Party, discos, twilight movies and more.

16.01.2022 Pyrenees Shire Council has announced it is looking at options for the upcoming pool season following YMCA Australia's decision to withdraw from the current contract. The YMCA had reportedly been offered a one-year extension to the current contract, which Council had anticipated being fulfilled.... Council officers are now working on engaging another contractor to run the Pyrenees Shire Pools this upcoming poll season. We know how important our pools are to the Pyrenees community, and we are going do our level best to get them up and running come December, said Pyrenees Shire Council CEO Jim Nolan. We are aware operating conditions in the current climate will pose an additional challenge. Council would like to thank the YMCA for providing this service to our community for the past 10 years. Council will continue to work with Avoca Friends of the Pool, Beaufort Friends of the Pool Inc. and the community in Landsborough to get the pools open.
