23.01.2022 Will be back at Healesville market this Sunday, looking forward to a chat. Thrilled to have sold my first item via my web page on www.madeit.com.au/beauvillehandcrafts. Of course my separate market items will not have added postage costs and will include a wider range of apparel for adults, children and dogs. Heres hoping for fine weather on 7/6.

23.01.2022 Resuming contact after a break. Am continuing with market stalls in Healesville on first and third Sundays. Hoping for a fine day tomorrow after many Sundays of inclement weather. Have enjoyed fitting out whole families in new beanies and this season added dog coats to my stall.

22.01.2022 Here are some samples of the knitted clothing to be found on my Beauvillehandcrafts web site @madeit.com.au

22.01.2022 Am starting to update my page for Beauvillehandcrafts with the lovely model Chloe who has the right shape and attitude to display my knitted goods from my winter garden.

20.01.2022 Stayed indoors today with a head cold so got busy filming my hats and apparel for my web page. Found a sunny spot upstairs where the light was streaming down from the clerestory windows over my head and therefore not casting my shadow on the subject!!

18.01.2022 RE BABIES I think Ive got most satisfaction from fitting babies with headware. The hat often stayed on the head when the child could see the reflection in the mirror- I called it the Narcissus effect! And of course the best result was to dress a mother and child.

18.01.2022 The way we were! Judy and Louise in action

13.01.2022 Yesterday was fine and sunny, a perfect restart to Healesville Market trading. With chill in the air, sales were brisk for beanies, balaclavas & dogs were keen to parade a new coat. It was great to be back !

13.01.2022 Im enjoying reminiscing about my years at St Andrews Market and some delightful customers who bought clothing skilfully knitted and sometimes altered by Louise. The multi knotted vest went off to Japan and the baby poncho was passed on to the next sibling and was much loved

11.01.2022 Heading for the Healesville Market at Coronation Park tomorrow. Taking summer cotton hats, brimmed straw hats, childrens novelty animal hats, headbands & much more.

10.01.2022 Will be updating my Facebook page & web site in the coming weeks in lieu of Healesville market activities. Ill be focussing on knitted clothing for autumn wear.

09.01.2022 Last stand at St Andrews yesterday. These models will help me photograph the wide range of headware weve been producing for the last 10 years and to go forward with new products on line.

09.01.2022 Finishing up at St Andrews on Saturday 22/8 after more than 10 years on the slope near the Chai tent! Ill have a few bargains and my photo collection of my customers over the years. Will continue doing markets at Healesville on 1st and 3rd Sundays. Please come and say Hello!

09.01.2022 Remembering THE GIRLS . I fashioned turbans to cover the girly dreads, little squares with plaits, and a helmet/scarf for an Essendon supporter.

07.01.2022 Am persevering with photographing my stock for my new web site but here is a sample of my sewn products for happy dogs!

07.01.2022 Chloe modelling the last of the winter range and some early spring garments.

06.01.2022 THE BOYS Aaron was our first "dreaded" customer and knew how to wear a beret! Craig was a regular and liked the formal black beanie, and Paul returned regularly to replace the extra large beret in indigenous colours which became lost in blackberries or unravelled in the washing machine!

04.01.2022 Am waiting for more sunny dry weather to take model Chloe down to the labyrinth garden where she can stand on level ground to display more capes, ponchos and shawls. This site can show her full splendour but I need to split her into upper and lower views to fit her into instagram squares for my web site at beauvillehandcrafts @madeit.com I packed for the St Andrews market last Saturday and nearly got to Yarra Glen before turning back in the pitch black morning. Id forgotten how the lights of on coming trucks and tailgating tradies caused me so much angst in wet conditions. May just find the courage to have another go next Saturday.

02.01.2022 Am preparing for the first Spring market tomorrow at River St, Healesville, but it still feels like winter with snow at nearby Lake Mountain. Hope to see some of my followers. Ill also have a big range of my handmade dog coats.s at my stall at the edge of the village green .

02.01.2022 Well the time has come to go on line with my much loved and well known beanies, ponchos, scarves, shrugs, cowls, crowns and head bands. Left St Andrews this morning without setting up in the rain, with the inevitable consequence of drying my stock in the lounge room! May now do only 2 more markets at St A. before my second (Nellie Melba like) retirement. Therefore have the day free to set up this Facebook site and record some of the wonderful people who have frequented my stall over the years. Cheers!

01.01.2022 Lots of positive comments for my last day at St Andrews. Big learning curve coming up

01.01.2022 Posting here in lieu of markets at Healesville with recent wet & windy weather. My dog coats, berets & baggie beanies have been popular this winter. Hoping for good weather at River St on 1/9.

01.01.2022 Thanks to all my patient followers. Im back in action. Ill be holding market stalls on the 1st & 3rd Sundays during winter at the Healesville markets off River St. Here are some of my newest products, featuring cosy animal inspired balaclavas & classy berets & beanies.
