Since recommencing the music therapy program in August 2019, Verena has conducted 82 music therapy sessions, 48... of which were singing lullabies for premature and medically fragile babies with parental participation, and 34 without, i.e. when babies were temporarily on their own. Some parents also created original lyrics for their babies with Verena’s assistance, using the melody of ‘Twinkle Twinkle Little Star’ or another favourite song. Written parental feedback has included, We created a family song with Verena and sang to our first baby with her. This was uplifting and also very calming and enjoyable for our baby who seemed to have a happy and relaxed look during the singing. THANK YOU once again to all our sponsors for your support - we couldn’t do this without you!
