Each week, we might not be near each other but we always meet each week online to make sure our Scouts are happy and catch up with the latest gossip and fun games planned. We also do a weekly challenge to make sure they are up to date with their knots and skills. With over $1.7 million of vouchers available, this inv...estment will help get local kids active and involved in outdoor activities. These vouchers support young Queenslanders who might otherwise miss out to get active with their friends through sport and active recreation. It also helps our communitys clubs to grow in strength and numbers. If you have a Centrelink health care card, a pensioner card, or have a combined annual family income less than $55,000, you could be eligible for a $150 voucher to help cover the costs of your kids active recreation fees. Its also the only holistic activity covering physical, menta...l, social, emotional and other skills. The financial comparison site mozo.com.au crunched the figures and found that Scouting is an average of $73 a term, Of course, Scout Groups vary: some do a lot of fund-raising, and some do none. 22.01.2022 Beenleigh Scouts had a great time on the water yesterday and learning all about life-saving lessons and what to do to help others. Just another way we are making our Scouts smarter and having fun doing it.

22.01.2022 Stay safe everyone. QFES: PREPARE TO LEAVE: Beenleigh bushfire as at 1.40pm Wed 13 Nov. Bushfire warning level: WATCH AND ACT. Queensland Fire and Emergency Services (QFES) advises there is a bushfire in Beenleigh and conditions could get worse. You need to be ready to follow your bushfire survival plan. If you do not have a plan, or intend to leave, you should be ready to leave the area because the situation could get worse quickly. Currently as at 1.40pm Wednesday 13 November, a bushfire is burning near Reisers Road and George Street, to the west of the Pacific Motorway. The fire is travelling in a westerly direction towards the railway line and Beenleigh Marketplace. Fire crews are working to contain the fire but firefighters may not be able to protect every property.

21.01.2022 Beenleigh Scouts had a great night visiting our local State emergency service SES, Learning about what they do for the community. They all loved the little response vehicle.

21.01.2022 Beenleigh Scout group are growing it is great to see so many new youth taking up the fun challenge that is Scouting, and we manage to keep our programs interesting and challenging for all ages. We have plenty of cubs and Scouts and we welcome any new members to join Cubs, Scouts and Venturers. But unfortunately we have Joeys aged 5-7 years on a waiting list because we have no leader, so we cannot run a Joey section night with out a leader. Can you help.? Or maybe some one yo...u know? it is a very rewarding position, starting with the basics and as they get older can tie knots and put up a tent. All training is free and being with other leaders its usually some good fun. 18.01.2022 The location of the next Jamboree has been finalised! The hosts, Scouts Victoria, conducted an extensive search, and in January 2022 10,000 Australian Scouts wi...ll be heading to the Elmore Events Centre in Victoria. Since the Jamboree was held there in 2007, the site has been upgraded its green, flat, with lots more infrastructure and lots more water a great base for adventure. See more

If you think you know some one that would like to give Scouting a go, please contact us and get your first night free to show you how awesome we are. Our group is growing and we need all the help we can get. With out the help of volunteers we wouldnt be the best group around.
