Theres increasing fear, isolation & uncertainty. Anxiousness, depression, fatigue from worrying & lack of sleep. These are all detrimental to the state of our mental health & are so often overlooked or given very little attention to. Its heartening however to see so many people starting to incorporate Yoga & Mindfulness Meditation into their lives. Knowing what to say when someone says theyre not OK & guiding them through how they can continue a conversation, could change a life. You dont have to be an expert to keep the conversation going when someone says theyre not OK. 20.01.2022 Namaste friends I hope you're all ok after the whirlwind of a week we've just had I'm really happy to advise that Tuesday night's Community Yoga Flow will be resuming next week ~ 1st Dec @ 6:30pm ~ with covid regulations still in place. ... I was ready to restart tomorrow night however I've been nursing a cold the last few days & require rest for recovery. Bookings are still essential, more so now due to the new covid rules that are in place & numbers are limited. If you're a regular to the class, you'll be automatically booked in, however, If you're unable to make it, please send through a message to let me know. 19.01.2022 Here's a little bit about me & what to expect in my classes :) I'm a trained & certified Hatha Yoga, Pranayama (breath control), Mindful Meditation & Kirtan (mantra singing/chanting) teacher with Veda Yoga Teacher Training I have a background in Fitness Leadership where I attained a Certificate 3 at The Regency College of TAFE & The Institute for Fitness Professionals. Having these added qualifications enables me to subtley incorporate a variety of other elements into our p...ractise to further enhance the overall health & wellbeing of the Mind, Body & Soul. My classes are all inclusive & nurturing, designed to suit all levels of fitness with easy to follow instruction of asanas (postures) mindfully connecting breathe with movement. The style I teach is a gentle paced flow, allowing time to go within, be present & explore the body's needs. Moving at your own pace is always encouraged with modifications being offered throughout the lesson to assist with injuries, limitations or if new to Yoga. We end the class with a Deep Peace Relaxation, Pranayama (breathwork) & a little Kirtan/Mantra Chanting to soothe & cleanse the Soul. Ahh.. what Bliss

This past week I made the conscious decision to listen to my body, rest & attend to its needs. Refreshing nature walks, a blissful massage, (which was long overdue, yoga practice, mindful meditation, reading & just being in the moment. The class began running at the beginning of 2020, was just starting to build up, before you know what hit. We've had to stop & restart a few times within the 2 years, which was understandably challenging for us all. I am grateful to those who showed up week after week, It was a blessing to share this space with you all. ...
