24.01.2022 Welcome back to the new year. Last week saw our State Squad have a few trial games against Willeton. Training starts again tonight for all players at 430pm at Forster Park.

23.01.2022 As President of Belmont Raiders TBall club I am proud as punch to the kids who have been selected to represent our proud club at the State Championships at Langley Park this weekend. On behalf of the committee and club I wish them well in the opening games tomorow on Diamond 10 at 8am Langley Park Perth. Get down and support our kids if you can.

22.01.2022 Trophy Presentations & Windup Presentations are this Saturday. Please arrive at 9:15 for a 9:30 start. After trophies there will be some fun activities for the kids, concluding at 12:00. There will be free pizza, juice boxes and icy poles for the kids. Parents can purchase pizza by the slice and cans of drink are available for a gold coin. If you havent already returned your uniform, please bring it along to avoid being charged for it.... We look forward to seeing you to wrap up a great season. See more

22.01.2022 NEW COMMITTEE Thanks to everyone who attended the 2018 AGM yesterday, where a new 10 person committee for the 2018/2019 season was elected. We have some returning members and new faces. We also have a new President Bradley Barbuto. Also, congratulations to Vikki McPherson and Phil Lewis who were voted in as a Life Members in recognition of their contributions to the club.

19.01.2022 Hi people, thought now that I have access to our Facebook page I should write something. As the New President of the Club I wish to extend a warm welcome to All people. Either past players returning for another season or to new families joining us for the first time. You will find we are a friendly family oriented club. We wish to move forward and create an atmosphere of fun and healthy competition. ... As we approach our new season and a new chapter in the life Of Belmont Raiders please sign up and register your kids now. So we can start to get teams together. We need parents involvement as its hard to run a successful club when only a handful of people are doing all the work. Many hands make light work. So if you have some skill sets or would like to lend a hand with different tasks feel free to drop me a line. Thanks to Robyn, Dave, Stacy, Phil who made it down to Belmont Forum last weekend to get the word out about our club. This year I have been in talks with other clubs about playing home and away games. So we look forward to welcoming these clubs to our home ground and also to travel to theirs to extend our kids competition and game experience. We might be a smaller club compared to some. But I know my kids have lived every minute of being a part of Raiders TBall. My littlest ones are raring to go after watching their older siblings for a few years now. So if you have tiny tots bring them along to try out our tiny tots and nippers programs. Remember we are a kidsport club. Register today for a discounted rate if you pay your fees before September 21st and if you need more time to pay rego fees ... just let myself or any committee member know. We can accommodate peoples situations and work something out. We just dont want fees to be an excuse for kids not playing sport. Get your kids involved in a fun friendly game. 19.01.2022 STATE CHAMPIONSHIPS We have finished yet another awesome State Championships weekend and our Belmont Raiders teams have made everyone so proud. The Under 10s continued their fantastic performance from yesterday with another massive win over Kwinana. Their loss on Saturday to Byford was their only stumble all weekend, but they can hold their heads up knowing they lost to the champions, as Byford ended up winning the division. Belmont finished third out of eight on percentage..., but didnt get an opportunity to play against the second placed team, so who knows what might have happened if they had. This young team is definitely one to watch as they continue to improve each year. Maybe next season in the Under 11s will be their year. Coach Ed and Kimi are moving to Melbourne in the coming weeks and we are all sad to see them go. Good luck guys. Come and see us next season if you are over for a holiday and you can have a hit. The Under 13s went into yesterdays games after a narrow loss to the eventual division winners Canning on Saturday and they bounced back in style having wins against Batavia Coast and Nannup. With a small division todays game was a rematch against Batavia Coast and it was an equally as exciting and close game as yesterdays, but this time Batavia Coast came out on top. While not the outcome we wanted, they still managed to secure second place. Great work team. The weekend finished with a Super Squad game, where Deklan and Leeroy represented Belmont Raiders to put on a great show with their team mates for all the clubs attending. On behalf of the kids, a big thank you to everyone who helped make the State teams such a success in the lead up and over the long weekend. Thanks to our coaches, Ed and Rob, assistant coaches Aaron, Adam, Brad and Warren and managers Kristie and Leeanne. Thanks to our umpires Dave, Ian, Nathan, Nic, Phil and Rob who umpired 21 games over the weekend as part of our umpiring responsibilities and helping Nannup with theirs. We look forward to doing it all again next year.

So please if you havent finalized your childs registration yet please jump onto our registration page or contact our registrar and get your child registered. We need to finalize our teams so we can appoint our coaches and get our fixtures done. ... Also if you are up to the challenge of becoming a coach or manager drop us a line. We always need extra hands and we welcome new members who would like to step up and join us. After all we are here for the kids. Sign up today its not too late. 17.01.2022 VOLUNTEERS WANTED - Bunnings Sausage Sizzle Tomorrow Belmont Raiders are running the Bunnings sausage sizzle at E. Vic Park (Cnr Albany Hwy and Oats St) tomorrow between 9 and 4, to raise funds for the club. Could any members that can help out for an hour or two please message us with your availability?

16.01.2022 REGISTRATIONS OPEN Our annual registration launch at Garvey Park (scheduled for today) is rained off this year, as the recent heavy rains have flooded the grounds. Online registrations are however now open through our website at https://belmontraiders.org.au.

16.01.2022 Our AGM was held last Wednesday Night but due to no people putting there hand up for Positions for next years committee we are in caretaker mode for now. If you would like to be a part of the new committee then please contact myself [email protected] An idea of a possible school comp was suggested and any past parents or friends, life members of the club would be encouraged to contact us to help out. ... Thanks again to last years committee who made sure the kids rocked the diamond and had games every week. An extra no special thank you to Leanne Ugle and Stacy Albert who made sure the club held together. Stacy was voted as club person of year for her contributions in getting the players and club ready week in week out. Leanne Ugle kept the club financially viable and served well as treasurer and also stepped in to cover other positions as committee people left. We wish her and her family all the best on their future as work commitments have them moving away from club. Again please if you want to get involved please contact me here or via email. 15.01.2022 Last week saw our last game of year with parents and kids playing a fun game. Close game between The legends and Santas Sluggers. The legends won 17-13 but a few highlights can be seen in videos below. Including a surprise visit from Santa himself who hit a home run but it wasnt enough to get his team of Sluggers across the line. Fun was had by all and thats what we as a club are all about. Our kids getting in the diamond for some fun.

12.01.2022 Fun Mini Adults/Juniors Competition There will be a Juniors (for safety reason younger players cant participate) and adults mini comp on Saturday (like the one before Christmas) starting at 9am. 07.01.2022 Thanks those that helped out at our Bunnings Sausage Sizzle on Saturday. It was great to have a cross section of members, with past players and our newest tiny tots family all chipping in. A special thank you to Vikki and Jesse, who spent the whole day there.

06.01.2022 States Update Yesterday was a mixed day for our teams, with both winning 1 game and losing 1. Under 13s had a great win against Swans, but lost by 1 run to Canning. Under 10s lost there first game to a very impressive Biford team, then had a narrow (1 point) win against Morley.... Today the Under 10s had a fantastic day with 2 impressive wins against Goldfields and Peel (who beat us at pre-states). Well done guys. Under 13s kick of their day 2 games in an hour, so come down and cheer them on. Well done both teams, you are really rocking the diamonds.

05.01.2022 Last week a few coaches , parents and friends took our young players to watch Perth Heat va Old Heat. A great night out with kids getting autographed balls and a chance to run across diamond. Adults enjoyed some yummy food courtesy of Vice President and Coach Adam John West better half. It was great to see our small club having a family night .... Its all about the kids. Rock the Diamond Belmont Raiders.

05.01.2022 LAST CLUB GAMES This Saturday is the last week for regular club games, so please remember (as requested by your coach) to bring a change of clothes for your child and return their uniform after the game/photo? State players should return their team shirt only as pants will be needed for next weeks State Championships. We will also be taking a whole of club photo to be given to players as part of our 40th anniversary celebration. This will be done between 9:30 and 9:45, so ...Sub Juniors will need to arrive in time as it is prior to their games. We hope you all have a great game to close out an awesome season.

With a special performance from HFL/CFL as well as a TBall game plus fun for the kids. Free food and Santa arriving. Join us from 12-4pm this Saturday 22nd December 2018.

02.01.2022 A few weeks ago Willeton TBall Club came for a game against our club. What a great day. Tomorow we return the favour as we little clubs help each other out and more importantly for our kids. They get to play against other kids. So tomorow starting at 830am at Willeton come watch our youngsters play a double header against Willeton TBall.
