25.01.2022 Members are advised that the timesheet for Saturday 8th August 2020 relating to the 2nd Round of the Club Championships is no longer applicable to be run under Golf Australia’s Covid-19 rules. As from Friday 7th August, bookings to play Social/Green Fee golf at Belvoir Park Golf Club on a Wednesday/Friday/Saturday/Sunday will need to be done via a phone call (5435 3370 or 0417 325 021), or attendance in person, at the Pro Shop. Course is open 7 days the above is to accommod...ate the anticipated busy days.. At this point in time, this arrangement will be in place for the duration of Stage 3 Restrictions. These bookings will start with a hit off time of 8.00am, using 7-minute intervals off the 1st Tee in groups of 2. Wearing of face masks is mandatory (No mask No golf). The Match Committee has decided that the Gold Letter Events for Men & women, ie (2020 Club Championships, Doubles 4BBB Knock Out and Singles Knock Out) have been put on hold. 23.01.2022 Message from our Recipricol club - Axedale Golf Club to BPGC members Hello All Axedale welcomes Belvoir members to play our course at no charge, as agreed between our clubs. Please note, though, that until further notice you must book ahead to secure your tee time. We require this to manage our COVID obligations, but it is always best practice to contact a golf club in advance to ensure you can get on.... Currently we have reserved tee times for Axedale members only on Saturdays until 2.00pm and from Wednesday-Friday until 1.00pm. Outside those times, we would be delighted to host you at our course. 20.01.2022 Latest Government Restrictions As at 11.59pm 8th July 2020, Government restrictions have been put residents from Metropolitan Melbourne and Mitchell Shire into lockdown. Therefore & unfortunately, whilst these restrictions are in place, those residents will not be able to play at Belvoir Park Golf Club.

16.01.2022 Once again our club has been hit with damaging winds. Now gives the left handlers a better chance on the 8th. Volunteers came to the fore with saws & manual labour to clear most of it off to be able to have fairway cleared & playable for today’s comp. Three cheers for our volunteers

12.01.2022 SADLY WE ANNOUNCE THAT WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED FROM GOLF AUSTRALIA - ALL GOLF COURSES MUST CLOSE. THEREFORE THERE WILL BE NO GOLF PLAYED SOCIALLY ON OUR COURSE FROM TONIGHT ONWARDS UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE. Mark Perry President

We need your continued support to enable our golf club to be able to financially function as soon as these restrictions are lifted

09.01.2022 Based on advice published on the DHHS website and verbal advice received from the Victorian Government, Golf Australia and Belvoir Park we advise the following: That as of midnight 5th August 2020 onward - Groups will be limited to two people Club competitions will not be conducted. Members & visitors welcome to play but all to abide by specified conditions. Club practice fairway, chipping area & putting only for Paul Powell lessons... 1 on 1 coaching can continue in a non-contact, socially distanced setting No hire equipment, including golf clubs, pull buggies, golf carts or range balls may be made available for hire under any circumstances Exception: Golf carts may be hired to a person who has a disability, or who is over the age of 65, or who can demonstrate that they require one due to having special needs, ie ID or medical certificate required Note: players are permitted to bring and use their own cart, however the one person per cart limit applies unless they reside in the same household. Facemasks must be worn in and around the clubhouse and on the course Flags to remain in holes, bunkers to be smoothed with clubs or feet Clubhouse closed Takeaway beverage service only social distancing observed Pro Shop will limit the number of people to comply with the requirement for patrons to keep a minimum of 1.5 metres apart.
