21.01.2022 Hands in the air for some great free music at the Village by the Lake entertainment, Lake Benalla Foreshore,Saturday 9 November from 2.30pm. The Schneider Electric main stage will feature live music from local talented school bands Benalla P-12 College and FCJ College. Later in the program the Black Orchid Stringband, Wally Howlett & The Elliotts, New Monos and headline act Louise Adams and Band will get you rocking the night away. 17.01.2022 Calling all garden enthusiasts to the Marangy Open Garden, 45 Standish Lane, Benalla this weekend, Saturday 9 - Sunday 10 November from 10am - 4.30pm. Set in picturesque rural surrounds, the garden features mature elms with lawn area, a walled vegetable garden and extensive low water-use gravel plantings with agaves, yuccas and perennials. Delicious morning and afternoon teas available for purchase. Afternoon entertainment by the Benalla Guitar Ensemble and the Benalla Guitar Trio. All proceeds to the Tomorrow Today Foundation. 14.01.2022 It's with great disappointment that we must announce that the 2020 Benalla Festival has been cancelled. The safety of our community must come first. Under current restrictions, the Festival would not be allowed to go ahead. Planning for the 2021 Benalla Festival is already underway, with the Australian Government announcing $26,400 under the Festivals Australia program for The Village Festival of New Performance to deliver The Game, a large-scale, interactive community comp...etition that reinvents theatre sports.
