25.01.2022 Marketing cut-through in a saturated market Another Bloody good idea! What do you think?

25.01.2022 REAL STEEL is steel a leader in the Australian Box Office this week, even with 47% decrease in profits ($2,258,627). There is below the average awareness (51%) for this blockbuster and just above average interest (24%). But do not be misled as it is only popular with blokes.

23.01.2022 THE TWILIGHT SAGA: BREAKING DAWN PART 1 sucked the blood out of all the other films at the box office this past weekend. This movie took $12,108,308, whilst every other film made less than a mill!

23.01.2022 Not such big beer drinkers anymore!

23.01.2022 Season's Greetings everyone! Watch out for more news in 2012!

23.01.2022 Mostly popular with teenage girls, The Twilight Saga:Breakind Dawn Part 1 is opening in Oz today! It is bound to be a number 1 in a box office this weekend.

22.01.2022 Ads that smell good...

21.01.2022 PARANORMAL ACTIVITY 3 has suddenly risen in Australia. The film climbed to the top in the Australian box office ($2,927,339) and in a ghostly manner startled other recently released films. CONTAGION has infected viewers with interest as it came second with $1,584,197 in its first week of release. Interestingly, the film scores low in awareness (like all hidden viruses) but high on all other counts.

19.01.2022 Where is the most interesting place we can place and photograph the 'Bergent Bag'?

19.01.2022 Where is the most interesting place we can place and photograph the Bergent Bag?

19.01.2022 THE HUNGER GAMES is still on top of the game in Aussie Box Office taking in $4,838,114 this past weekend.

18.01.2022 Fancy a good read? A new article has just been published by one of our account managers!

18.01.2022 Bergent has just launched the second wave of the Centre of Creative Industries Producer Survey. It will be interesting to see the changes that have happened in the Australian Screen Content and Media Industries since 2009!

17.01.2022 Project X dominated the Australian Box Office taking in $1,279,691 this weekend

17.01.2022 Get your shoppers to spend more in store. John Berenyi presents at the 2010 retail conference. Introduction (Part 1).

17.01.2022 Excellent new communications campaign by Oporto, who happen to be one of our valued clients. Great to see that the Oporto team was able to incorporate Erika At Bergent's research insights (which called for a creative direction that focused on casual moments, backed up by real honest food delivered in an Australian tone of voice) to come up with a TVC that really hits the spot. Congrats to all that were involved in this.

15.01.2022 Is mindless excess over? Or will we go back to our ferocious spending habits once the economy fully recovers? The debate continues to rage. What are your thoughts on the state of today's new consumer. See more http://vids.myspace.com/index.cfm

14.01.2022 Get your shoppers to spend more in Store (Part 2)Tips to capture shoppers attention and slow them down.

14.01.2022 Congratulations to RED DOG as it is now the Top 15 Australian feature film of all time ranked by total reported gross in Australian box office.

13.01.2022 The beauty of editing trailers

13.01.2022 It was an unscrupulous week for previously released films as REAL STEEL became a champion in the Australian Box Office earning $4,253,771 in its first week of release. Could it be the appeal of Hugh Jackman in a tight futuristic outfit?

13.01.2022 Guess what brand was named after the Greek Goddess of Victory?

10.01.2022 Get your shoppers to spend more in Store; Happiness sells. Final instalment (Part 3)

09.01.2022 Opening films this week are CONAN THE BARBARIAN, COWBOYS AND ALIENS and FRIENDS WITH BENEFITS. Awareness scores for thesese films are particularly good but positive buzz is a little thin. Will you guys watch any of these films this weekend?

08.01.2022 If only cinemas would separate teenagers too...

08.01.2022 McWilliams Wines have released a new range of wines branded "Balance", which has become the first win to be endorsed by Weight Watchers. A glass of Balance is equal to one Weight Watchers point and is also one standard drink. Low calorie has worked in the beer market, but will it work in the wine market also? Thoughts?

08.01.2022 Free coke with a machine hug! Very original

05.01.2022 THE MUPPETS played well this past Thursday earning more than $600,000 AUD in one night. Good luck!

04.01.2022 Marketing cut-through in a saturated market 'Another Bloody' good idea! What do you think?

04.01.2022 Opening this week are CHALET GIRL, FINAL DESTINATION 5, ONE DAY and THE HELP. Except for FINAL DESTINATION 5 all films are falling far behind in terms of awareness, first choice, definite interest. FINAL DESTINATION 5 is still not quite there yet but at least its much closer to hitting the norm mark than the others; 42% awareness, 14% definite interest and 5% first choice. Positive buzz for ONE DAY and THE HELP is strong, whist remaining low for CHALET GIRL and FINAL DESTINATION 5.

04.01.2022 Great article on movie testing, featuring our very own John Berenyi. John discusses 30 years of audience testing; (its true he tested Mad Max in the late 70s!) http://www.encoremagazine.com.au/testing-audience-knows-bes
