25.01.2022 LOUD SHIRT DAY Friday 25th September. Gold Coin Donation Wear your brightest clothes and get LOUD and PROUD to raise money to help give the gift of sound and speech to deaf children. We will be holding a LOUD shirt day on the last day of term 3.

25.01.2022 Help Berinba School to purchase Recycling Bins!! Dress Up Day. What do you want to be when you grow up?Our SRC have gathered ideas from our school community, and would like to purchase outdoor recycling bins. We will be holding a dress up day. On this day students can dress up as what they want to be when they are older. This might include a doctor, nurse, teacher, firefighter, shop keeper, vet and more. The list is endless. 21.01.2022 Update- All is safe and secure here at Berinba. Children have returned to class to enjoy lunch. Berinba Public School has experienced a minor gas leak. As a result students have been evacuated to the bottom playground while the leak is being rectified. Everyone is very safe and will return to their rooms once work is completed.

17.01.2022 Satellite Selfie National Science Week 2020 To celebrate National Science week Berinba is participating in a very exciting venture, Satellite Selfie. Students will combine to form an image on our oval that will be photographed by a satellite flying overhead. There will be 3 opportunities for our creation to be snapped on Monday, Wednesday and Friday of next week. The clearest image will then be chosen and delivered to our school for our students to admire.To facilitate this..., we are asking all students to dress in one of the following colours. Red Yellow Orange High vis clothing Silver Students will need to come dressed in these colours on all three days: Monday 17th August, Wednesday 19th August and Friday 21st August 2020. See more

13.01.2022 Ready, Steady, Cook! Stage 3 had the pleasure of watching, chatting and eating amazing Thai food cooked by our Berinba celebrity chefs Nan and Mrs McAleer. 5/6 have been learning about the continent of Asia and the many different aspects of Asian life. Our students enjoyed green chicken curry, Thai fried rice and a traditional Thai cake called Sungkaya that was cooked by Nan. It was a great way to finish our last day of term 3!

10.01.2022 Today the Stage 3 students had a visit from our amazing local paramedics, Ben and Matt. They demonstrated what to do if someone was bitten by a snake or spider and how to preform CPR. Our students enjoyed bandaging each other and trying out their newly learnt skill of performing chest compressions.
