16.01.2022 INTERSCHOOL SWIMMING INFO // The Interschool Swimming Carnival will be held this Friday 26 February at the Town Pool. Due to current COVID regulations and guidelines, the venue has a limit on guests which includes, students/competitors, staff, parents and spectators. 09.01.2022 FREE DRESS DAY // Last term the Year 12 students organised a free dress day. The theme was 'what I want to be when I grow up'. Needless to say there were some interesting choices for what our students aspire to be when they grow up... All in all it was a bit of fun for a good cause. The Year 12s wanted to fundraise for an organisation that was close to the hearts of the Whelan Family. After speaking with the family it was decided that their fundraising efforts would go towards the Children's Childhood Cancer Support Group in honour of Kaci

04.01.2022 BIG IDEAS CHALLENGE // Jack, Savannah, Johneisha and Kulaia recently attended an event organised by Future Anything in collaboration with Townsville City Council. The program was called the Big Ideas Challenge. Students from about six different schools participated and they were taken through the process of generating a business idea BTC students collaborated well and created a pitch which was selected for presentation in front of a panel.
