09.01.2022 We are very sad to hear of the passing of Jeff Oliver (at this stage circumstances unknown). Jeff was the drummer in Black’n’Blue, the cover band which evolved into Black Steel. Also behind the kit for Black Steel in the very early days, including the band’s first ever gig at The Cracked Barrel in 1999, working with us on the songs that were eventually recorded on our Battle Call EP. A very easy-going and sweet character, and a fantastic drummer who toured with many of Perth’s finest acts. We’ll miss you Jeff, as our thoughts also turn to your family and friends.
