05.01.2022 Happy to share that one of my travel photos from the Kimberley Coast in WA has been published in this months Australian Geographic (July-August 2016) to support Mike and Susan Cusack’s story ‘Thirty years of the wilderness’ (pg 112). In 1987 they were chosen by Dick Smith to become Australian Geographic’s ‘Wilderness Couple’ and spend a year living isolated in the Kimberley. Mike Cusack was my Expedition Leader on a voyage with Aurora Expeditions a few years ago. On the voyage we explored the remains of the home they built in Kunmunya all those years ago and got a sense of the remoteness and challenges they had faced, but also of the immense beauty of the region and the humbling experience it would have been.
