To reduce the chance of your cargo getting rejected or damaged, a packer has to have the foresight from the packing stage through to unpack at the final destination. ... Here are a few guidelines our team consistently follow. - Forward plan container cargo stowage. - Ensure that all weight limitations of the container are met to remain road and export compliant. - Equally distribute the weight inside the container taking care not to exceed permissible weight concentrations per square foot of deck - Avoid concentrating heavy weights at one side or one end - Stow heaviest items on the bottom for stability - Cargo that is susceptible to leakage or spillage is not stowed on the top of other cargo Its amazing to think all of that goes into a successful pack #BPL #tetris #container #freightforwarding #export #pacific
