14.01.2022 I have been writing in various forms for most of my life, including business, academic, correspondence, resumes & selection criteria, speeches, documentation, procedures etc. I have studied Professional Writing at University and worked in the public service for 11 years, many of those years undertaking writing roles. I have the ability to tailor my writing to suit different audiences or different clients. All of the selection criteria responses I have written for clients ha...ve resulted in interviews. I have experience in writing and editing assessments for nursing, teaching, poetry, professional writing, English literature, secondary education and counseling. I’ve had the privilege of helping to write words of love and loss for those who have not been able to get the words out themselves, penning eulogies and remembrances for the families of lost loved ones. A wonderful highlight for me as a writer has been writing the memoirs of a beautiful lady, Anna, before she passed away. Her story spanned from war torn Europe to settlement in Australia and was one of tragedy and amazingly, joy as well. Reading the final draft of her story to her while she was still here to enjoy it is a truly cherished memory for me. Writing is a passion of mine and I write with clarity and brevity, but am equally adept at writing descriptive and emotive pieces. I am skilled at working with my clients to obtain information around their needs and applying that information to the type of service they require.
