This morning Jackson Taylor announced that we would get $4.334 million dollars for an upgrade to our school buildings in the State budget. As you all know we have been working hard to make our school better and modern. At this point there is a lot of behind the scenes work to do with the Department of Education but we are assured that works will commence quickly.

06.01.2022 Hello to our Boronia West community. Next week we start to bring back our students and it will not be long before we can all be together again. Please note that students in grades 3-6 must wear a mask and it is recommended that Prep-2 students wear a mask also unless you have approval for an exemption. We hope you understand that we are following the guidelines set out by DET and the Chief Health officer. For next week the Prep/1 students will be back at school on Monday, Tu...esday and Wednesday with Mrs Ruff from 8.45 until 3.30. On Thursday and Friday the Grade 2/3/4 students will be at school with Miss Worrell from 8.45 until 3.30. Please remember to bring your mask, hat and a water bottle with you. The Department of Education has given us very clear directions on how we have to return to on site learning and we have to follow their plan. The plan for Week 4 will be slightly different and you will get further information about who should be at school on what days. If you need further clarification on any information about returning to site, please call the office on 9762 2510 and speak to me or Michelle. Students who have been attending on site will continue to attend as they have been doing during lockdown. It is good to be back at school after being away with my broken ankle which is so much better. My thanks to all of the staff and Miss Jackway who ‘held the fort’ while I was away recovering. I am hoping to bring you some further information about our building project which has been underway throughout the year in the next few weeks. I look forward to catching up with everyone soon. Jennie Brown
