25.01.2022 You get what you pay for..................

25.01.2022 Yea Haaaaa. Finally received dog bones last night (Toyota L/Cruiser hand brake struts) and was able to send out 23 sets today. Also, 30 pairs of Nissan Chassis braces (thanks Greg) will arrive tonight and will be delivered tomorrow for plating and then into stock when finished and ready to go. Also picking up enough raw cuts to weld up for 100 sets which will travel home with Greg to be welded so that we will be able to supply in the near future. Thanks for the support but mainly just at the moment, thanks for putting up with less than good service in relation to delivery time. Doing our best so that this will never happen again. Just Murphy and his law visited our business at the wrong (is there a good time???) time. Thanks again all. BUY AUSTRALIAN.

Our business BOSS 4WD is taking the 'Boss-Tough Enough' range of products to a whole new level (formerly sold by FNB 4WD Supplies). We will be continuing the Australian Made tradition of locally designed and made 4WD gear that I have been part of for over ten years in this business. So now I am the bloke you get to converse with, and together with my mate Greg we will keep bringing you 100% Australian Made quality gear. Yep, Andrew and I are hosting the lifestyle Workshops everyday, just for fun. I've promised to behave, but if you want to catch us in action make sure to drop in and say g'day. It's sure to be interesting and informative. Just look for the two old blokes 'chewing the fat', as they say.... :-)

19.01.2022 "I was so impressed with it, I bought the company" said the man from Remington. Well Bill reckons the Boss range of 4WD gear is even better so he's bought the lot. As of the 1st of May, Bill and his good mate Greg, the 'Two Blokes' will be taking over the Boss production and taking it to the next level as 'Boss 4WD'. We are very excited for Bill and Greg, as they have a great product range to work with, plus a strong reputation for quality and value, combined with their own experience in the industry to make it work for them. 12.01.2022 Busy busy busy. Hi all, sorry no posts lately. I have been busy trying (and finally getting there) to get the new web stuff up and running. Sales going well and would appreciate any comments good or good re products, service etc. Means a lot to me as I am committed to Australian made products from Australian made stuff and I am trying to do the right thing by the customer. 09.01.2022 I would like you all to think about the following. Please remember that we are a small,100% Australian business. I hope that while considering purchasing any of our products, you keep this in mind. :)... You are given the options of Fast, Good, and Cheap, and told to pick any two. Here, fast refers to the time required to deliver the product, good is the quality of the final product, and cheap refers to the total cost of designing and building the product. So imagine a triangle with each of these needs at each point of the triangle. This triangle reflects the fact that the three properties of a project are interrelated, and it is not possible to optimise all three one will always suffer. In other words, you have three options: Design and produce something quickly and to a high standard, but then it will not be cheap. Design and produce something quickly and cheaply, but it will not be of high quality. Design and produce something with high quality and cheaply, but it will take a relatively longer time. 07.01.2022 To all the customers who have recently purchased our Dogbones or Toyota Hand brake struts, SORRY. That is all I can say. We have a company here in Adelaide that Laser cuts this product for us, Their Stainless steel laser cutting machine was due for a service a week or two ago. Usually this would take two to three days BUT just as I start trading................ well anyway apparently the service of this machine was basically stuffed up, So then they needed to call in people f...rom interstate in order to rectify the problem and then service the machine properly. If you as a customer is thinking "I paid for my purchase, so where the hell is it? Why have I not received it yet?" Well all I can say after only one of a half weeks of trading as Boss4wd is that I am genuinely sorry. You are waiting for your item to turn up and I am bloody embarrassed that I can not delivery good quality Australian made products ON TIME and as promised, SOON I HOPE and please stick by me. 05.01.2022 This is a really interesting development in the automotive parts industry, as it is highlighting an issue with Genuine parts, not Aftermarket parts. Obviously the car makers want to jump on it, as it immediately places doubt over the certainty of getting a genuine part when a consumer is already paying a premium for this. Aftermarket part manufacturers generally have to at least meet but more often exceed the performance and quality of a genuine part in order to win consumer ...choice against strong marketing of 'genuine' parts. Of course we all know car makers and dealers are telling consumers their warranty is void if using alternate parts, many of which come from same parts factory, so now this casts doubts over their assertions.
