24.01.2022 Less than 24hrs until you can get back in here! Just a reminder to stick to the 2 people/2 hour guidelines as well as all the normal Covid protocol. Please remember to sign in/out of the garden as per normal. Our Covid Caretakers have been doing as much as possible to keep the garden tidy, but they’d love your ongoing assistance - if you can dedicate a little of your 2hrs to weeding a path or working in the communal garden area it would be appreciated by all ... See you soon, gardeners!

23.01.2022 Earlier this week we were lucky enough to be provided with a working party to help out with some much needed weeding. Proving that many hands make light work, they were able to tear through the weeding in our orchard - work that would have taken an individual many, many hours.... A massive shout out to City of Maribyrnong for providing us with the support to keep our garden growing

22.01.2022 Whilst some parts of our garden, like the pictured vertical succulent garden, are doing just fine on their own, other parts are going to need some TLC once we’re all allowed back in the garden. Our Covid Caretakers have been doing an amazing job in the limited time allocated to them, so please start thinking about how you can help them out once the garden is reopened. Keep an eye out for working bee dates once we reopen - they’re a great way to contribute outside of your o...wn plot as well as meet other members. Areas that will need attention include the communal garden, overgrown grass/weeds around garden beds and paths that will be in dire need of weeding. This week we’ve also had Maribyrnong City Council organise repair of the damaged Whirlybird on the container, and a temporary repair job on a damaged fence carried out by the Caretakers.
