08.01.2022 We hear the word unprecedented said so much of late and its true these are unprecedented times. So, what will happen now when you come into our clinic to see your GP? Firstly, during these times your health is the most important thing. Please do not put off seeing your GP for any health-related issues. We have strict measures in place to keep our staff and patients safe.... When you call our reception staff to book an appointment, they will ask you a few simple questions: 1. Have you been unwell, fevers, cold or flu, sore throats, loss of taste or smell, fatigue? 2. Have your travelled from overseas of interstate in the past days? 3. Have you been in contact with anyone who has been diagnosed with or suspected Covid-19? Please answer us truthfully and to the best of your knowledge, your answers help us organise an appropriate appointment for you. You may be offered a telehealth appointment with your GP over the phone (where clinically appropriate) or face to face at the clinic. When you arrive, you will notice signage and marked sections on the floor. Please abide by all displayed signage and instructions given to you by our staff. These measures are in place for your safety. Staff will instruct you on where to sit in the clinic. Depending on your reason for visiting the GP you may be asked to wear a mask when you arrive. Wearing a mask is a precautionary measure. If you are required by staff to wear a mask you must wear it for the duration of your visit to the clinic. These small adjustments ensure that we are providing the safest environment possible for staff and patients. Thank you Bremer Medical Centre
