15.01.2022 HAPPY 5th BIRTHDAY TO US! Today marks 5 years since the launch of the Broken Hill Midwifery Group Practice (MGP). We are extremely proud to achieve this milestone and to provide all pregnant women in the Far West access to their own midwife through a midwifery-led continuity of care program.... It is unfortunate that due to COVID-19, we were unable to host an event with the women and families in the park to mark the occasion today. We love an opportunity to get outside, chat to mums, cuddle babies and celebrate the relationships we have built within the community. It’s one of the things that reminds us how special it is to be a midwife! A huge thank you to our dedicated midwives for their passion, our doctors for their support and expertise, our district executive for valuing women-centred maternity care, our PSAs and ward clerks for their hard work & pride in our unit and the Far West community for appreciating us!
