25.01.2022 Hey legends, Stoked to share our pullmax/vibroshear tooling table with you all. The main platform measures 515x800 and is stepped to present the tools to the operator. At 2mm material thickness its plenty strong enough without weighing too much. We've also incorporated a shadow shelf 20mm lower than the deck to land the tooling posts. As you can see this is of massive benefit to myself and the team, increasing efficiency and general shop presentation. Ill be ordering another ...in the new year and will be offering them for sale by order. Cost will be $599inc GST with freight to be calculated. The tooling station will be welded and finished by us. All you need to do is let us know your tooling post size and we will edit the size as per required. Slide into my DMs for more info. 22.01.2022 Always nice to receive some positive feedback after a job has left our custody. After undergoing some fairly serious reconstructive surgery this Triumph TR250 is finally sitting pretty. 21.01.2022 Some more @the_sinner356 progress today file finishing our inner bonnet gutter piece into the front end. The last few photos illustrate the discovery of some more of the sinners past sins cant be much left now lol. Really happy with this project at the moment, no major metalshaping work left (I think we've remade nearly all of it ). 20.01.2022 Wrapped with our progress on the Flaminia...see what I did there??? Front and rear sheetmetal clips have been wrapped onto the body now for good. We left the front and rear door jambs open so we could fit and weld the sills in and be able to dress the welds out. We're having a late night turning the sheetmetal around the door jambs tonight. We have adjusted the upper and lower gaps, the side gaps are still unacceptable due to body error. We will be repairing the rear quarters next followed by some hand made rear guards. 05.01.2022 Flaminia chassis' last moments with its clothes off as body flanges get trimmed to fit. Suspension components fitted in preparation for new door skins. The body has a fair amount of flex in it so we want it sitting under it's own weight to ensure correct door gaps (they close up entirely when the car was upside down on the rotisserie ) All our hard work is starting to pay off visually. #brownesmetalcraft #metalshaping #coachbuilding #restoration #doneright

05.01.2022 Waiting for restrictions to ease and get back to work as per usual. Soon folks, real soon. As much as its sucked, fighting "what is" will only bring you some kind of pain and generally piss you off, which in turn you put onto others. (You think that's deep, wait til you hear me after a few drinks ) In all seriousness though, we've done our best to stay positive and develop a good attitude toward the situation. Its been a good opportunity to re-model the shop, attend to much... needed maintenance, take on some different and exciting essential fabrication work to tide us over, working on the shop truck. Us and many others are gonna be full noise soon, can't wait. Whats the point of this post? 03.01.2022 Lancia front sheet metal clip progressing nicely. All large patches shaped, welded in and filed up as well as addressing surrounding damage. Next up we will be rewiring the perimeter and fitting it to the tubular frame for some work to the grill surround. We are lucky to still be firing on all cylinders here. Everyone is healthy and we are continuing on with our projects as per normal. Although we are effectively running a closed workshop at the moment, we are happy to work w...ith you however we can whilst maintaining proper precautions.
