25.01.2022 10cs Honeyeaters Team Report The Honeyeaters have had a season of ups & downs with a lot of injuries but still managed to finish inside the top 4. This is indicative of the varying skills these players exhibit at such a young age. I’m lucky to have a team that loves netball whether they’re winning or losing. They play as a team & continue to encourage each other on & off the court. I’d like to thank the girls & their parents/grandparents for their commitment to training & turning up each weekend with such enthusiasm. We were finishing the competition stronger than we started and as a coach I couldn’t prouder. I hope the girls continue to play & I look forward to seeing them all back next year.

23.01.2022 U9/10s Orioles Team Report. Congratulations girls on a fantastic season! Back in March these girls came down to training for the very first time, having never played netball and not knowing anymore than one or two other people in the team. We got in two weeks of training and then didn't see each other until June where we introduced ourselves to each other again. I wasn't sure how'd we go the first week with very little game experience but the girls pulled out a win, and then kept on winning. Finishing the season undefeated and up the top of the ladder I couldn't be prouder. You can put the girls in any position and they give it 100% with very minimal complaints. Well done girls and hope to see you all next year! -Allira

21.01.2022 U10bs Orioles Team Report Coming off great season last year I was fairly confident the girls would have a competitive year in u10s but after a few weeks it became very clear to pretty much everyone they were the team to beat. Every week the girls went out and gave 110% and continued to work together and grow as a team. On a few occasions I had to check with their parents that this was only their second year of netball because their skill level and game sense was well be...yond what I though I'd taught them. Our main focus for the year was learning to play "smart" and not running around like crazy people. It took a few weeks but eventually we got to a point where everyone knew their role on court and how to play together as a team unit- its just unfortunate the season ended as abruptly as it did. Its unlucky the girls didn't get to play in the finals series to be officially recognised as premiers but sitting undefeated in first place after 9 weeks with 192 goals scored and only 39 scored against its safe to say they're champions. Congratulations and thank you everyone for another great year and fingers crossed for our first "full" season in 2022.

20.01.2022 U11B Kingfishers- Team Report. Kingfishers have played a terrific season and are so proud to have made the finals again this year. They've made the most of this unusual year by still attending 20 training sessions and the 10 comp games. They have all achieved individual goals and have grown together as a team to play their best netball ever. Congratulations Kingfishers

20.01.2022 Congratulations to all our teams who backed it up today and ended season 2020 runners up U11B Kingfishers U13B Firebirds Div 7 Flamin Galahs Div 8 Cocktails... Div 10 (who lost by just one goal) Jaegers! See more

17.01.2022 Div 5 Phoenix Team Report To say for the last few years this team are/were the best in their competition, is an understatement. These ladies train hard, play hard and support each other on and off the court and are one of the friendliest group of players I have the privilege of coaching. For some twist of fate, to have the honour of calling themselves premiers has, unfortunately alluded them. This year again, this team was undefeated and now have that honour of calling ...themselves Premiers (and arguably, everyones favourite team) and well deserved. As always, I am very proud and will continue to sing my praises, loudly, from the sideline. -Therese *has not been edited AT ALL

15.01.2022 Of our 10 competition teams, 7 have made the semi finals including all our senior teams! Good luck to all our teams playing semis on Saturday: 11B- Kingfishers 13B- Firebirds Cadet 2- Kestrels... Div 6- Phoenix Div 7- Flamin Galahs Div 8- Cocktails Div 10- Jaegers

15.01.2022 Congratulations to all our teams who played today and an extra well done to our 6 teams playing in the Grand finals tomorrow: 11b, 13b, Cad 2, Div 7, Div 8, Div 10! ... Special mention also to our Canteen volunteers this morning who came in bright and early See more

15.01.2022 2020 Team Report: Div 7 Flamin Galahs Ahhh the Flamin Gallahs! With three families in our team this year, Saturdays have become a family affair! Big shoutout to our amazing spectators- despite covid, I don’t think we have ever had this much sideline support. It really made all the difference, and we very much appreciated it! Our returning girls from last year have continued to shine and improve every game. Equally, we were so excited to regain some Budgewoi veterans this yea...r, who came out of retirement and played each week as if they never left. The calibre of talent and diligence that arises each week has brought us to our first grand final in six years. Unfortunately, we didn’t come up with the win, but we are determined to get it next year! We may not have a coach, but we are always bringing out the best in each other. Thanks girlies for a great season! See more

09.01.2022 U12 B Ravens- Team Report Well done on another great season! Unfortunately due to the luck of the draw the girls finished in 5th, missing out on semis, but they still gave it to the best of them! The girls continued to improve each week and never stopped surprising us all with their skills. Thank you for always being committed and for listening to me most of the time. Shout out again to the super parents who are always ready to help! -Allira

08.01.2022 Div 6 Phoenix- Team Report Coach Therese has made the mistake of delegating the writing of this team report to me so ill do my best to write exactly what I know she would say - Allira "Phoenix have been nothing but fantastic all season resulting in ending the regular round as undefeated minor premiers! While Covid had its downsides, it also meant that there were no weddings for the ladies to attend this year so we were able to have full attendance most weeks. While there were times the ball was not thrown to the person who was 'right there' and goals didn't always go in the ring, through some real fantastic defence we always managed to scrap through with the win with no injuries until Sarah decided to play volleyball. I have enjoyed every minute of coaching this team and missing cocktail hour does not bug me one bit. Therese"

07.01.2022 PLEASE READ BELOW CORRESPONDENCE FROM WYONG REGARDING FINALS Congratulations we made it. Even though Covid shortened our comp and made this year more difficult than most we got through it and all our teams who wanted to play had that opportunity. Our Net Set Go presentation was not what we had hoped for but most teams and parents seemed happy that the players received their trophy and indicated they had a good season. It was great to see all the smiling faces of our younge...st players. To all our club volunteers who either did Covid gate duty or canteen a big thankyou without your help we would not have been able to continue, I hope your players appreciate what you have done for them. A few of you have asked about extra spectators for the final series, as per Government guidelines we need to keep it down to a minimum so please make sure your teams are aware of this. All spectators on the outside courts 1, 9, 6, 4, 27 spectators will be asked to sit outside the fence. Inside courts 10, 17, 19, 25 spectators will be allowed inside but MUST be bright back to the fence behind the courts being played on. There will be limits on these courts so please be aware that if too many spectators are in the court areas they will be asked to vacate. Please make sure all your players wear the correct uniforms, no taped nails or any jewellery, no taped earnings, nose rings etc players WILL NOT be permitted to take the court if they do not comply with the rules. Correct underwear to be worn.

05.01.2022 Div 3R Kestrels Team Report Even though most of this team are still eligible to play in the Cadets competition, they played up in a new Senior competition, Div 3R, that was designed for young players to acclimatise themselves to seniors.... Every week these girls played against older players and with their new team mates held their own and would definitely make the final series . Even though the records will show that this team finished in 3rd position for 2021, the last game the girls played (week 9) they defeated the only un-defeated team in the competition. Definitely a grand final team !!

04.01.2022 A few reminders as we head into the final round of competition this weekend. Firstly we are on covid gate duty again this week, same gate as last time- it ran smoothly the first time so hopefully this time will be no different. Secondly all net set go (u7s, u8s, u9s) teams will have their Wyong presentation during the fourth quarter of their game on Saturday. Teams will play the first three quarters and then they will move to a designated court within their area to receive th...eir trophies. Due to covid regulations all parents will have to remain behind the fences however there will be an opportunity for photos after etc Details of the Budgewoi presentation are still being organised and will be announced in due course. Thanks!

03.01.2022 And Finally congratulations to 2020 Cadet 2 Kestrels who came from behind today and took the win, ending the season undefeated and both Major and Minor premiers with just 7 players all year. Extra special mention to Abi for receiving MVP for the Grand Final

01.01.2022 Junior 3 Firebirds Team Report The Firebirds started off strong & even after the loss of a player very early in the season to an injury reducing them to a team of 7 they were able to transition into new positions, continued to improve their skills & showed up on game day as a team that came to win. Their final positioning on the ladder equal 3rd is the result of their strength & growth as a cohesive team. I saw the girls passion for the game & their willingness to train hard. They exceeded their abilities & I want to congratulate all my players for a great season & look forward to continuing this journey with them next year.
