25.01.2022 It took me a while (and some self questioning as to what a baby goat looks like ) but can you see it?

25.01.2022 So much excitement in the playground this morning as our kindy friends discovered some of their new toys thanks to the Rockhampton Regional Council Environment and Sustainability grant we recently received. The kindy was able to purchase lots of hands on resources to assist in teaching our children environmental awareness, the importance of recycling and ensuring we do our bit to protect our world. Bundara is a Darumbal word meaning place of many trees so we are aware of ...our responsibilities in ensuring sustainable practices into the future. We are so grateful to the Rockhampton Regional Council for allowing us to embed these learnings further with such fun and meaningful resources. You can find out more info and upcoming events from the RRC’s environment and sustainability team by visiting https://www.rockhamptonregion.qld.gov.au//Environmental-Su

24.01.2022 We are so excited to be getting ready for our new carpark to be installed this weekend. We just wanted to say a huge thank you to one of our parents and the amazing team at Menzies Towing Service for getting our wheel stops delivered in time for it all to be done. Our community never ceases to amaze us with their generosity - thank you so much Wayne, Janelle and the Menzies family for your support of Bundara. You can visit them on Dean Street for all your automotive needs.

21.01.2022 There was excitement all around this morning as we kicked off Term 3 and our Kookaburra friends were very excited to see the amazing improvements we made over the holidays thanks to the kind support of our friends at Ergon Energy. As part of their #community program sponsorship we were able to redo the interior floors and add edging to our sandpit area to ensure the safety of all our kindy friends. Ergon Energy is passionate about ensuring the safety of our Queensland community. Be sure to check out their website for home energy efficiency and safety tips at www.ergon.com.au

20.01.2022 Happy Father’s Day! We would love it if you wanted to share a photo of all the wonderful dads today and would love to hear what they thought of the presents that our Kookaburra’s and Lorikeet’s have been creating!

15.01.2022 Teamwork makes dream work!

15.01.2022 It’s not often I’m lost for words but honestly - how amazing is this. Brandon Butler, Indigenous artist from GABA art, has been busy at work creating this amazing piece for Bundara Kindergarten. Brandon explained: In the Dreamtime The Rainbow Serpent is the creator of the all the land, mountains and waterways. The mural illustrates the story of the Rainbow Serpent through the patterns, symbols and colours. The Waterlily has been included which is a traditional totem of the D...arumbal People. Brandon will return in term 4 to work with our kindy friends to add their handprints to the amazing piece. We can’t thank you enough Brandon, it is more amazing than we could have ever imagined! Brandon can be contacted via email at [email protected]

They learnt important aspects of electrical safety like staying 10m away from fallen powerlines and checking cords around the house for any fraying or damage. ... A very big thank you to Ergon Energy for taking the time to come out and teach our students.

02.01.2022 We know we have the best educators around but on Early Childhood Educators Day we wanted to say a very special thank you for the wonderful job they do. Miss Cassie, Miss Heidi and Miss Amber go above and beyond every day to make sure that our children are learning and growing and we cannot express our appreciation enough. Thank you for all that you do!

02.01.2022 *** Sneak Peek *** We are currently working on the creation of an ANZAC remembrance area so our kindy friends can learn about the bravery and sacrifice of all those who have served our country. We had a bit of an idea in mind but really no clue on how to make it happen. In steps the amazing team at WeldPro who cut our soldier for us and I think we can all agree it looks beautiful.... We’ll keep you updated with our progress but in the meantime please keep the guys at WeldPro in mind for all your welding and fabrication needs.
