23.01.2022 Sad news to wake up to today - Sir Sean Connery has died aged 90. For most people their favourite Connery role was James Bond but personally I loved him in ZARDOZ. Do you have a favourite Connery role? https://www.bbc.com/news/entertainment-arts-54761824

22.01.2022 How has everyone been coping during this pandemic? Its been a mix of emotions here joy at spending quality time with the kids, stressed trying to do schooling and working from home, and a bit of sadness that we haven’t been able to create together in a while. School is going back to full capacity on Monday and some restrictions are slowly being lifted. However, the School of Arts is closed and I do not know when the Council will re-open the facility, but I suspect it wo...n’t be for a while. Rest assured I am searching for another venue in the interim. Hopefully we can get back to Drama Classes soon.

22.01.2022 So sad. Geoffery Palmer was one of my favourite actors - I loved him in 'As time goes by" or as my mum always calls it - 'The Way we were". So many greats have been lost in 2020 - SOMEONE HIDE JUDI DENCH UNTIL NEXT YEAR.

02.01.2022 We try to create a space that is all about making mistakes and trying to learn from them

02.01.2022 I sent this email to parents this week about COVID-19 pandemic "There is a lot going on in the world at the moment and I hope that Drama class provides an outlet and escape for your children from all the COVID-19 talk. However, as the WHO has declared this a pandemic and the government has required schools to cancel activities and excursions, I am in two minds about whether or not we continue our classes. This is due in part to the fact we are supposed to be practicing social... distancing and that is difficult to implement in drama classes. I would like to continue with our classes as I believe especially in a time like this a sense of normalcy is important to our children, however, I realise that parents may not be comfortable continuing with extracurricular activities, especially one like drama where it is almost impossible to remain the recommended 1.5m away from another person as advised by the Department of Education. Ideally drama class will continue for as long as we can before more restrictions are put in place. I will leave the decision relating to classes up to you as you know what is best for your child. Please let me know if your child will be attending this week. I will ask each child attending to wash their hands before we start class and will try to organise activities that allow distance between students."

02.01.2022 Due to the new social distancing measures introduced over the weekend by the federal government, it is no longer possible to run drama classes in their current format. These measures require people to be four metres apart during indoor activities and as you can imagine in a drama class setting this is not possible to do. It saddens me to cancel classes until further notice but as this is the current advice it is necessary to do so. Depending on how long this situation goes on we may be able to introduce an online component however at this stage I am unsure what shape this would take, I will be providing further information on this at a later time
