24.01.2022 The Bunyip Football Club is thrilled to announce Tim McGibney as our Senior Coach for 2021. Tim comes with a wealth of knowledge that he has built up over the years, and a passion for junior development and ensuring the connection continues to grow between the Junior and Senior Clubs. Tim has been involved in football at both a community and VFL level which we believe will help set us up for not only the short term, but also will ensure we have future stars coming up from the our junior ranks for years to come. Please welcome Tim, his wife Ashlee, and the three kids Jorja, Jett and Gisele to the Club in what is a very exciting chapter for the BFC.

Both Dylan and Ryan are highly regarded as elite talent that will bring professionalism both on and off the field. 15.01.2022 It is with great excitement that we can announce we have finalised our coaching panel for 2021. Darren Ryrie will take the role of under 16’s coach, ably assisted by Brett McNamara. Both guys have demonstrated an enormous amount of energy and passion for our club which will be perfect for this team, the future of our club. We are always looking for players in all age groups, especially the 16’s, so if you are looking for a family friendly club to join, please contact us.... We are also on the lookout for additional trainers to support our football program, so if you are a qualified trainer, keen to support our coaching staff, we would love to have you on board. Remuneration can be negotiated based on qualifications. Finally, in a new initiative, we will be introducing an elite training program for kids aged 11-13 and 14-16, kicking off in early Feb. For all of our local kids in these age groups playing juniors or starting in the under 16’s, we will be offering expert coaching and development to assist with there ambitions - wherever that may lead . We feel we are entering an exciting time and would love you to be involved

14.01.2022 The Bunyip Football Club is passionate about continuing the growth of women in sport and recreation, and we would like our community to get involved in an online workshop that is being ran this Wednesday 3rd of March from 7:00pm to 8:30pm. We are wanting to further develop leaders with more confidence to increase participation and equality, strengthening a club culture that provides an inclusive and welcoming environment for all. The MC for the night will be Chelsea Roffey. We are very lucky to have Chelsea as our MC for the session. Apart from being a prominent AFL umpire, Chelsea is an inclusion expert. 11.01.2022 Congratulations to our very own Tom Papley for finishing 3rd in the Sydney Swans Best & Fairest last night. It caps off an amazing year that has included playing in the State of Origin charity match and kicking 5 goals (and Best on Ground if you ask anyone around here), being selected in the All Australian 40 man squad, finishing top 10 in the Coleman medal and also being voted for the most over the top celebration for the year Tom has become a household name in the AFL circles now, but he remains very humble and has reached out to the club that when he returns to Victoria later in the year he wants to join us in Pre-Season training and assist where possible which is a massive coup for the club. Once again Tom, congratulations and we are all very proud of you and look forward to seeing you do it all again next year
