24.01.2022 On the 8th of February, we had our first proper event for 2021. After a long year of no golf events with the Melbourne University Golf Club in 2020, we are back in full swing for 2021. We were fully booked at The Royal Melbourne Golf Club with an included lunch, all 28 members had an absolute blast. A big thank you to Royal Melbourne for hosting us. If you’re feeling a bit of FOMO, you are very right to feel so. We will be having many events like this in the coming year, so make sure to give us a visit at O-Week on clubs day to sign up for the club, or message/DM us to lock in your position in the Melbourne University Golf Club for 2021.

22.01.2022 SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT: BASED on the universities regulations and the value we place on our members safety as well as acknowledging our role in preventing further spread of COVID-19, our committee painstakingly came to the decision that all services provided by the Club have been INDEFINITELY CANCELLED until further notice, therefore any events, gatherings, range sessions, golf course sessions planned for semester 1 have been cancelled. Our plan, if government regulations and b...est practice permits, will be to hold lots of events during semester 2, therefore at this time, we will NOT be issuing refunds to members EXCEPT for those who will not be in Australia for semester 2 {Exchange Students}, as we plan on holding the promised amount of events of which pricing was based off, however, if at the end of the year we have been unable to hold up these promises we will be issuing REFUNDS to a level to ensure our members receive their value for money. We will provide you with a further update about future events as soon as we have instructions from the Melbourne University Sport Department. We will keep you in the loop as the situation continues to evolve. Please stay closely attentive to later posts of our Facebook Page. *NOTICE: Within our Club's mission statement, we aim to Bring golfers together, with a focus on university students, which will encourage the undertaking and enjoyment of golf, therefore anyone wishing to still play or connect with other golfers please ensure appropriate social distancing and hygiene measures in accordance with government announcements. We hope that ALL of you stay SAFE, are able to play some golf and maintain a slightly normal life.
