It features the return from lock-down of Trish Mothersole (Susan) and Janet Dickinson (Violet) in ‘Bed among the Lentils’ and ‘Waiting for the Telegram’ Susan pretty much hates her lot - the wife of an upwardly mobile rural vicar, surrounded by women who adore him (and, consequently, despise her), endless good works stretching into the future with no release. Violet is a confused, elderly woman in a nursing home who has been told by the excited staff she will soon be receiving a congratulatory telegram from the Queen in honour of her one hundredth birthday. We would really like to allow more people in the community to see it AND go out with a BANG! The Gala Fundraising Show is on Sat 18th July. A dress-up event at $30 flat per ticket with a glass of beer, wine or something included on arrival and a free ticket in the MONSTER raffle for every ticket-holder.
