24.01.2022 No quilting for me for a while, full knee replacement has put a hold on that for sure, did manage to get a few jobs done before I went into hospital though. Now these have been gifted, received, I can share. First one was for a customer - Anzac quilt constructed and quilted using 2 layers of batting, Jessica's barb wire for the border quilting and Poppy promenade, for the border to border, both from Urban Elementz, love how the quilting all stands out a bit more with the doub...le batting on this one. Second one is a small baby quilt I put together for a dear friend, used a heart line for the border and flower swirls for the B2B pattern

22.01.2022 Having a bit of a play with threads today, same bobbin but different weight threads on top, good to know my machine can handle different threads without too much mucking around with tension

10.01.2022 Still no quilt on my machine this week so loaded up a practice piece. For couple of weeks I've been practising in a large notebook free motion patterns, same thing over and over. Well today I found a spare half hour so switched on my machine and had a go, I was very impressed how easily I transitioned from the scrap book to doing it with my machine, it all felt so easy and flowing. Made a couple of little wobbles but just kept going - pretty impressed with today's effort, be back at it again every day I can now

08.01.2022 My dear machine is looking a bit lost and lonely this week, nothing to put on it, oh well using this time to finish off one of my quilts that's been hanging around waiting to get finished. Thought I'd use this time to show off some of the designs this machine and the Prostitcher can do. Started off with basic edge to edge, then as I got more confident I started doing more on my quilts with doing separate borders and custom work, love what it can do.

04.01.2022 Pretty pleased with today's work, got all the white parts in middle section of quilt done, lots of ruler work doing stitch in ditch, love the Prostitcher program for being able to save all the areas and workspaces I created earlier, made it a lot easier today bringing them back in for these sections. Tomorrow be back to the other corners and fill, end is in sight now
